Too bad we couldn't put a PEP in our auto's.... Thief breaks into car, thief gets blasted with ray beam, thief incapacitated and passed out in car,lol. My father and uncle used to have it set up where if people touched the car, ZAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! can't do that anymore. Anyway, my suggestion is to get one of the cheaper air horns and put it inside the car, hidden, and this way no one will want to go inside when the alarm goes off. you could also hook up a 12 volt smoke machine and strobes to add to it. Anything to keep a thief away. I would rather them break the windows pissed off than to steal the whole car.

Anyone ever deal with them, know anything about the quality of the seats? Anyone know of other places to get them? I have a 1982 Buick Regal and right now I have the pillow top seats. I hate the tan color and want to know if it is cheaper to buy 4 bucket seats than it would be to have the 2 bench seats redone. I pretty much want black and orange seats so I am just figuring what is more cost effective.

people did it all the time around me. They would use nail polish, spray paint and the hobby paints. They would not go over the cover, they went directly on the bulb. At first it is too dark but once the paint burns off a little it is much better. With the price of LED lights it is not worth it anymore. You can pick up a 3 pack for like $14 if you look around. When I had my Civic I did everything but the gauges in blue LED's and it looked awesome at night with the Pioneer stereo lit up blue.

The $399 paint jobs is just enamel. I think that 1 hour of prep is included. Pretty much the same as spray paint only shot from a gun. When you get up into the $1,500-$2,000 range, it is base/clear and they do more prep work I believe. The Macco site tells you the different prices I believe.

My father had his truck painted there. Had a few spots rust through and a couple that looked like something under the paint. He took it back a month later and they fixed it free of charge. I have seen worse from private body shops that charge $60 -$75 an hour for work, Macco is not the best but for budget paint it is good enough for some. Better off saving up for a quality job if you really care.
