    im having problems trying to figure out how to hold the lower tuned port to the box becase the high tuned port is going to be pretty big

    thats what i was thinking of doing but i wont have very much room to work with it will be a slot port /square port but ill only have maybe 3/4" on each side what im thinking about doing.. somehow is with no port in it will be tuned to day 50hz then when i put a port in, it will tune it to a differnt HZ

    im going to be building yet another box, but i want to have interchangeable ports one for 50hz ( burping) one around 40hz ( for bassrace or something) and one in low 30s for daily ground pounding but i dont have much room to work with, my MAX dems are only 37w 15t and 25D im not sure how i would go about doing hte interchangable port witht e little room i have for port i need ideas on how i would go about doin it!

    i would think so.. mine never got hot off 1500... never smelt burning coil or anything

    i had 4 10" level 3s with lv4 coils and an extra spider on 1500ea daily no problem

    use a heat gun.. will help it cure quicker

    IIRC brand new DD9512s are up around 550 or so the MCD 2k12 is $350

    i had DDs before them.. they are louder off less power sound better as well

    ya that should be good i was runnin a 160a alt 2 red top optimas and 2 kinetic 1800s and i had no problems

    no its not... but they will run 1 ohm with good electrical i was doin it for about 2 months no problem

    i was running it at 1 ohm i set gains for 3000rms@1ohm ( 54v) so i dont "overdrive" the amp o scoped it and it was clean still had lots of "headroom" left...

    like i told you, get a piece of mdf thats 13" tall and 18 deep 3/4 thick and stick it inside the port will lessen port area and lower tunning

    i clamped one of my amps ( audiopipe 3k) i got 2500rms@2 ohm with 12 volts or less so they do make pretty good power..

    i should add.... im not going for numbers but a loud daily setup i know if i was tuned higher it would do a better number

    they just got " released" a few weeks ago they sound better get louder then my old DD9512s did on 6k the DDs did a 146.XX on 3k the MCDs did a 146

    heres a short vid of the current set up 2 12 MCD 2k12s on 1500 each audiopipe AP30001d at 1 ohm ( will have my 2nd one back friday to run 3000rms to each) 4.1 cubes not sure on tuning does a 146@42 hz sealed on the dash 147.8 with drivers door open on music
