  1. Yet...lol i have a feeling were going to get a shit load all at once and with my luck it will be when im on call for work.. Lol
  2. There was alot of 360s Most were noobs The truck (full size one) was the first time in snow so.. Took some getting used to lol This was the first snow fall so it was basically " everyone get together and go do doughnuts and drifting" type deal lol
  3. Truck was hard to drift at first but after a lil while i figured it out.. Not easy to drift a truck with a few hundred pounds of audio in it!!
  4. When you try to turn it on Whats the voltage at the amp?
  5. I run saz4500s.. Imo I would try for 300A+ for alt and atleast 3 decent batterys in the back to keep the amp happy You need power to make power, if ou can properly power your amp it will make about 5-6k depending on how you wire it
  6. Its gettin there i dont think ill be an issue tho..
  7. A used TL can be had for about 500 then the update to switch it over then update the software (unless its already got new aoftware) in the end ts almost the same price
  8. IMO youll be better off buying new.. Less hassel as well
  9. Yes, the cone "cycles" leas but it moves further I know its way under box tunning when they do warm up, but just thought i would ask, just odd how how the subs move more and cool less, if that makes sence lol
  10. ill be lengthening port/shrinking box volume.. when i double the power..again!!
  11. You dont need an isolator, unless you play system with car off
  12. i dont hit hte mechanical "limit" just seems to get warmer faster
  13. on paper the box is tuned to "41hz" but becase of lack of power ( 500rms per clammped ) i dont have a problem playing down to 27hzish but after a few min they get warm, ( they do move quite a bit.. but dont hit mech. limit ) if i stay around box tunning ( 41hz) i dont have any issues!
  14. Si, ive been thinking about this the last coue days, and cant seem to think of the answer. When a sub starts to unload (or playing far under tunning but still not hitting mechanical limits) why does it heat up? Wouldnt more xmax cool the coil better?
  15. At .8 on a burp (rolling into it) it was ok if i went slowish but if i went quick it would protect( mind you i only had 1 425a alt and 2 oddesy 2150s) But i think they way i had it wired was playing a huge factor. Ill just have to wait for 2 more amps and have 4 4500s strapped at .7 a pair..
  16. i know id be quite a bit louder.. shittt..at . 8 strapped im 1.5db louder then i am at 1.5 strapped..
  17. How much are the subs moving when they make the noise? I know the SA8s are pretty tough They do t bottom out either the tripple joint hits the motor befor the coil hits the back plate
  18. port noise...somehow ports 5 1/2" round and i get port noise with a single 12 ahahah theres also a 3/8" hole on side that needs to get sealed up this is just something i threw togeather in 5 min for some beat
  19. dailyed it like that for about 2 weeks... still works gets hot quick if playing full tilt sounds decent box has port noise tho
  20. pfttt lol wont be wiring to .4 dont wanna blow anything up.. allthough i have a few things in the works atm..
  21. .7 strapped i wouldnt think twice about .4 is much lower
  22. StreetB guys... Crazyy what they can do on limited power Id say im pretty experianced, just neve had an amp that could "handle" that low of a load
  23. .1 is a dead short correct? stupid wiring options!!!!
  24. i know they will handle .7 no problem even on music but i can wire to 1.3 or .4 strapped dont plan to play music threw it just a quick burp or 2
  25. has any one burped their saz4500s strapped at .4? only for a burp, not music slowly rolling into it i know its very low just want to try and see what kind of number i can get but.. dont want to blow anything!
