no the only thing they do is there is some company you can mail your ecu to and you get it back in about 2 days... but i would rather not go sending it off -

you cant chip a lexus is300 dude... -
After i get my car tuned up and i save up a little money i was wondering what are some minor things i can do to my car besides a cold air intake that will gain me some HP? I do not want to get an exhaust so an exhaust is out of the picture... any ideas would be appreciated... I drive a 2002 lexus is300

okay i have a 2002 lexus is300 automatic transmission. the car was taken care of by previous owner and was garage kept and was in perfect condition when i bought it month ago. I took it to the track near me which is a 1/8 mile track and i run 10.4 to 10.6 at about 64-67 mph... if my car is rated for about 7.4 from 0-60 why does it take over 10 seconds to do 1/8 mile at 65?

Bad thing is my amp doesnt have a subsonic filter... Its a 10hz fixed so it dont help...
-
dude i tuned the port by entering all my calculation into the port calculator on REs website and i think it would be tuned to 36hz if i put in all my calculations then did the box exactly the same as the calculator... so its tuned to right somewhere around 36 hz give or take a few numbers.... but trust me its not tuned to 45hz anymore thats about where i had it before and lower notes sound better now....
-
i cant run it like that anyways because my amp is supposed to only be 4 ohm stable at mono but i talked to you before and i had it hooked up 2ohm mono before and it didnt shut amp off or effect it...
-
Is that better than the way i got it now? where each voice coil runs off 1 channel?
-
i should wire the speaker up like that?
-
my box is 30x15x15 and the port is 3.5" wide by 25 long total which means its tuned to 38 hz based on the re L port calculator...
