  1. It was already previously installed from the the other owner of the car and didn't know about it.
  2. Thanks, can i use Circuit breakers instead? because i will have to buy replacement fuses from ebay if they pop and also the fuse holder.
  3. That expains alot, cheers will go buy some 0/1 G cable, everything is in 4 guage except from the rear battery to the amp which is 0 G.
  4. Hey guys Have been having a few issues with my first set-up and like allways with first installs theres glitches. My first question, i have dual batteries, one in the engine bay and one to the boot, there is no solonoid between them. I have a standard alternator and am running a Rockford fosgate T2500-1bd and have had a a few subs, (now blown up) i have no sub running. So i used to have a fuse holder in the front (60A) and would pop fuses every 2 mins if that and was only running a Rockford T1, is there anohter alternative that i can use because fuse holders are rubbish. How many amps does a rockford amp pull and when do they fail? what should i have between the second battery and my amp? Cheers.
  5. Yea we have lots of other brands but from my own experience i haven't seen one 18" woofer on sale, plenty of 15's around now but nothing compared to what you have over there. Thanks for that i will go check out those Aus members systems.
  6. Nice subs steve, i wish i could get an 18" woofer over in AUS but our audio market is really slow and behind, we only just got rockford fosgate this year... yea
  7. DD subs look funny with the big dome cap in the middle haha, Yea, i'll stick to rockford then, they make some nice 15's Thanks
  8. Yea pricy as, thanks for that tho, i'll go buy a set of 2 T215's, that should be equivilant to one BTL
  9. Im just looking for quotes atm but i think its pricy to get it over here, Brisbane QLD Australia
  10. They wont ship it because there big and heavy and no guarantee that it will arrive at my door in one piece.
  11. Fi only ships to US and canada, i know shipping will be expensive as but i want to see the figures first, if there to expensive ill stick to some rockford 15's
  12. Hey I want to get one of these to Australia and no one sells 18" in Aussie stores here because were a bit behind, i can get 15"s like rockford fosgate, kickers, all these other brands but no 18"s, but i want a fi btl, does anyone know how to get one over here?, none on ebay either. Thanks
  13. Check this out Two rockford fosgate 4000-1bd amps Wow i cannot believe what i'm seeing, i wish i could buy that, just pointing out a good deal aswell guys.
  14. Nice vids steve, civic is coming along good, what song did you use in that video?
  15. This song has crazy bass, its constant, its like another hypnotize song. I don't have a kickass 3000Wrms system to try it on but i do have a Rockford T115 and the bass pumps hard. I want your girl - too short And Krazy - Pitbull ft. lil jon
  16. Yea i'm going to enjoy it, ever since i saw a rockford fosgate t115 i was just blown away. Before that i was just listening to 2 600w v-net subs, (not sure how many RMS) My brother has a T115 only running at 300RMS and i think that pumps loud.
  17. Yea i've watched heaps of his vids, his build is awesome, the civic is coming along really good also, My brother did mention that some brands do understate the power outputs so you could run them higher.
  18. I'm not sure, it's all new and confusing but i understand now, so, with 2 x T215D4 wired in a 1 Ohm load @ 1500wrms. Each sub will be getting 750wrms. which is 250wrms from there max 1000wrms.
  19. Yes i did know that, so are you trying to say is that i should get two T215D4 wired in a 1Ohm load format and then tone my amp watts down to 1000Wrms @ 1ohm? i didn't see that set-up when i was working all this out. Edit: Does having different wiring setups to make different ohm loads change anything to do with the way the sub handles bass or it's frequencies? i know the difference between D2 and D4 is that D4 take more effort to run.
  20. I would rather have all "Power series" to suit my setup, and i don't think i can fit 4 T215 anywhere in my car, im flat out getting the right measurements for just two 15". So thats why i'm stuck, i can only get either 2 T115D2 or get a second amp.
  21. So i need another T1500-1bd. Either do that or get two T115D2? whats your opinion guys, I know theres a 400Wrms between the T1 and T2 and i know there would be a substantial difference. But another $1000 to my budget hurts. But in the meantime i can get 1 T215D2 and 1 T1500-1bd amp and run that untill i can afford for the other two.
  22. Hey all I'm planning and saving for my first build in my car soon and am a bit confused with ohms and the amplifier output Ok, i will put this in the simplest way i can The amp: Rockford fosgate T1500-1bd 500W x 1 @ 4-Ohms RMS 1000W x 1 @ 2-Ohms RMS 1500W x 1 @ 1-Ohm RMS The subs: 2x Rockford fosgate T215D2 - 1000WRMS Impedance 2-Ohm x 2 1000 Watts RMS 2000 Watts Max This is what i want them set up as, (2) 2 Ohm DVC speakers = 2 Ohm load Now what i'm confused with is that the amp sais 1000W x 1 @ 2-Ohms RMS, does that mean that both of the 15" will be receiving 1000Wrms each or split between each other (500Wrms) thanks
