Hey guys Have been having a few issues with my first set-up and like allways with first installs theres glitches. My first question, i have dual batteries, one in the engine bay and one to the boot, there is no solonoid between them. I have a standard alternator and am running a Rockford fosgate T2500-1bd and have had a a few subs, (now blown up) i have no sub running. So i used to have a fuse holder in the front (60A) and would pop fuses every 2 mins if that and was only running a Rockford T1, is there anohter alternative that i can use because fuse holders are rubbish. How many amps does a rockford amp pull and when do they fail? what should i have between the second battery and my amp? Cheers.

DD subs look funny with the big dome cap in the middle haha, Yea, i'll stick to rockford then, they make some nice 15's Thanks

Nice vids steve, civic is coming along good, what song did you use in that video? -
This song has crazy bass, its constant, its like another hypnotize song. I don't have a kickass 3000Wrms system to try it on but i do have a Rockford T115 and the bass pumps hard. I want your girl - too short And Krazy - Pitbull ft. lil jon

Yes i did know that, so are you trying to say is that i should get two T215D4 wired in a 1Ohm load format and then tone my amp watts down to 1000Wrms @ 1ohm? i didn't see that set-up when i was working all this out. Edit: Does having different wiring setups to make different ohm loads change anything to do with the way the sub handles bass or it's frequencies? i know the difference between D2 and D4 is that D4 take more effort to run.

So i need another T1500-1bd. Either do that or get two T115D2? whats your opinion guys, I know theres a 400Wrms between the T1 and T2 and i know there would be a substantial difference. But another $1000 to my budget hurts. But in the meantime i can get 1 T215D2 and 1 T1500-1bd amp and run that untill i can afford for the other two.

Hey all I'm planning and saving for my first build in my car soon and am a bit confused with ohms and the amplifier output Ok, i will put this in the simplest way i can The amp: Rockford fosgate T1500-1bd 500W x 1 @ 4-Ohms RMS 1000W x 1 @ 2-Ohms RMS 1500W x 1 @ 1-Ohm RMS The subs: 2x Rockford fosgate T215D2 - 1000WRMS Impedance 2-Ohm x 2 1000 Watts RMS 2000 Watts Max This is what i want them set up as, (2) 2 Ohm DVC speakers = 2 Ohm load Now what i'm confused with is that the amp sais 1000W x 1 @ 2-Ohms RMS, does that mean that both of the 15" will be receiving 1000Wrms each or split between each other (500Wrms) thanks
