thats JP's sig, its a quote from roscoe and man, nobody on youtube should be able to talk shit, cuz unless they have heard your system, they have no idea how loud or good it actually is... like steve's vids, ive seen all of them, but never have i heard his system get over 100 dbs, or sound amazing... because ive only heard it through my computer, but judging by the work he does, and the praise he gets, i know its hella good... a camera cant pick up on amazing SQ, and they dont know how loud it actually is unless they have car audio experience, which i doubt most of the haters do

so i went to that link, and its his youtube channel... he has 4 videos that are above 4 stars and they are all about his "throttle response"... all his other vids are about his subs, and theyre like 1 star... and in one of the vids, half the comments had something about SMD in it, did i miss something? other than that, its kinda funny ur dog peed on ur box lol, sucks tho, hope it dont stink up tha hoe a-pillars look great, and i cant wait to see what your plans are for the box... in the vid, u were starting to say, might not even replace it, then you kinda cut that part out lol... waiting on more vids! get them turbos kicked back in

not sure if steve is wiring his amps like this, but it is possible for him to be seeing 5000 watts +... Two amplifiers in bdSYNC configuration: 5000 Watts RMS x 1 @ 2-Ohms (the specs on the 2500 at rockfordfosgate.com) so if he wired them that way, the subs would be getting a rated 5000 watts rms, and we know how rockfords ratings correspond to their actual output... so i would guess his subs would be seeing 5500-6000, if he wired them that way and damn steve, i just watched the latest video... that funny, i was listening to tha carter today too! thats funny... yeah, so when u turned the bass on a little, i was like, hmmm, that cant be it? then u turned it up a little, and i was like whoaaa... then you let antheny have it (poor antheny haha) and i was like daaaaammmmnnnn! those 2 subs DE-STROYED that paper, real nice man!

u shouldve used a more recent pic of steve, he's bald now and he was running the BTL's at around 5000 watts with the 4000bds... with the 2500bd's its gonna be close to 6000. and yes, he's gonna use the FI's until he gets his new sub

EVERY piece of mdf at my home depot is pretty beat up. how do those amps fit so perfect on your box!?!? lol, its so perfect... is that 8 gauge wire goin to the speakers? how many runs? one last question, how many speakers were u running before the rebuild? i know you're gonna make some new door panels and add speakers, cant wait to see that!

damn steve, ive checked this build like 5 times today, and was wondering why there havent been any updates for a while. you were flying through the rebuild, then lately it seemed to have just disappeared, so i came here to get on you about that but looks like you uploaded some videos so now im happy

well this is a simple one! just tie it to the roof! lol, jk, but for real, thats about the only place ur gonna be able to keep it in ur car, with a sub wall, other then the passenger seat... but who wants a spare in a passenger seat? i leave my spare at home, along with my other 4 stock wheels haha... runflats = best bet, or dont get to far from home, so somebody can drive you a spare, thats what i rely on

i know theres a lot of haters out there, but a lot of the comments ive seen on the fans, are just people wondering what its like. like the smoke, people arent questioning it, they just want to see how it works, i know i would. but i completely trust them, u did an amazing job with them. the whole build is amazing, and i would never second guess any of the work you have done. but i do have one question... how have you learned to do everything you do, so perfect? i know its years of experience, but where do you pick up most of the new stuff you learn? (new stuff going waaay back to the beginning) its sooo close to being done, i cant wait! i think i might shit myself when i find out theres a video of the WHOLE system up and running... its getting done pretty quick though. great work!

damn, i got a response from the very first member of stevemeadedesigns.com, i feel special now haha... but yeah, i did not know that... thanks for the info, but i thought that alternators didnt have a ground, they were grounded by the casing... just something i read while reading a forum on the big 3, please correct me/inform me if im wrong

the whole build is looking great, seen all the vids and pics, lovin it all! but one question. why does steve have 5 runs of ground to the alternators? why not just ground everything in the back?

damn steve... u gotta paint the dome light (maybe fix it so it doesnt fall anymore when the bass hits im sure u can figure something out)... u can get that done in a day... then replace 2 sensors, and relocate the shocks... bet you're lovin the small to do list, its pretty exciting that you're that close to finishing... its weird how u havent heard back from him... if u dont hear from him in a year, ill get a big ass loan, and buy that caddy from you

any suggestions on how much power wire to run from my alternator to the d3100 in my trunk? or any recommendations for amount of power wire? id like to get another d3100 and atleast a 200 amp alt, maybe 250 or 300, idk, im looking for something good.
