I'm going to guess and say the adapter you're speaker of will be necessary bc with the new frame there will be space for extra cooling?
I'm not good at keeping secrets... the cut-out in the bottom of the 18" frame will be large enough to pass an entire SA-10/12/15 motor through it. Now what would that be useful for I wonder ?
The biggest coil ever created to accompany the strongest frame ever created?

Once preorder starts I'mma order two sets! Was just going to run 1 set off my SAX 125.4 (still waiting on tracking number lol) but I wanna keep them under warranty, just in case.

I'm pretty sure it's recommended to use half the subs rms in a tline. I think you'd be fine considering the method Sundown uses to test their subs.

For a 4th with passives you'd need a sealed section and instead of a port in the larger section you'd put the passives. If you're really considering trying it, you'd probably need 3 passives per sub to simulate enough port area. Let us know how it goes, this is an interesting idea.

I was thinking of getting pc parts and a solid state drive and putting it in an MDF box with rubber washers to absorb vibrations.

Obsidian, Sundown, Audioque, and many others all have subs in those sizes. What's your budget? Goals - SPL, SQL, or SQ?

I'll grab some cardboard and experiment with boxes and see what I can find to fit with the most amount of airspace.
It'll probably end up looking funky, but anything for that extra airspace! Lol

It's 15.5" at the trunk opening to cabin, it's 16-17" lowest until than I think I might do the 36" deep, but than it'd be a tight squeeze with only 36" wide getting the port and subs on the same face Should be able to fit two 6" pvp pipes, but not sure if that's enough port area. Maybe port through rear deck somehow?
I'll end up with 7.21 in2 ft3, 56.52 in2 total port area, with two 6" ports

I finally got my new car. It's an 1995 Buick Le Sabre. It's got a pretty sizable trunk. But, getting two 15's in there without building it in there might be a little hard...
I have two Obsidian Audio 15's, and an Sundown SAE 1200Dv.2.
I was thinking of either
A: Building a ported box smaller than what I had in my SUV.
Or B: Doing Infinite Baffle.
I've always wanted to try infinite baffle, but not sure how well the Obsidian's would do, especially with that much power.
I measured my trunk:
Rear seat to back, shortest distance: 36"
Floor to Top, lowest spot: 15.5"
Width, thinnest spot: 36"
What you guys think? Maybe relocate my 15's into the house, and go another route?

In Kennesaw, GA, it is REQUIRED BY LAW for each household to own and maintain a gun. Kennesaw was recently celebrating 25 years as a murder-free city.
Looks like I'm moving to Kennesaw!

One question I had been wondering was what percentage of gun crime was done with illegally owned weapons? Here's what a google search found me:
80% of all gun crime in 1997 was done with illegally obtained weapons. 6% was undermined. Only 14% was done with legally obtained weapons

Here's something someone said that didn't have any reference, that I'm wondering is accurate:
One study indicates that 'legal' guns are used 2.5 million times a year to properly and lawfully protect citizens.
Also, someone posted that since it's introduction only one person with a concealed weapons permit has been arrested in a gun related crime.
I've been searching and searching but can't find any newer statistics than those.

Just received my SAX 125.4!
This little guy looks and feels SOLID! 
I gotta upgrade my cars electrical (stuff coming in the mail soon) and I'll let you all know how it sounds.
