  1. no i can push in the clutch and rev it and it will drop if i rev fast. but if i gradually bring it up the rpm range it wont fall out
  2. well i just checked out my harness. nothing broken or messed up. no resistors even
  3. it rest at 15.0 when it works but it drops voltage under acceleration
  4. bump. need this fixed its my daily driver.
  5. ok so i have a 2002 ford focus zx3 DOHC ztech. mechman 220a alt with adjustable voltage harness and big three. the alt has been fine for the last 3 weeks but now when im driving if i get up to around 3000 rpm the voltage just falls to 12.6 ish. but is u rev it slowly it wont fall. brand new belt. any ideas?
  6. a baffle is the side of the box that the subs bolt to. so if its one layer thick leave it blank. if its 2 layers thick put a 1. and so on
  7. the port area is determined by the net volume of the box. so as the box shrinks the port area needs to do the same. the reason for making the box smaller to handle more power is the smaller box will create more "back pressure" on the sub. but you have to be careful when doing that
  8. no its not the switched one. just the basic one
  9. http://www.missinglinkaudio.com/ thats all i can give u. they dont give alot of info in the website.
  10. no the pcm is the cars computer. the harness im talking about will bypass the computer. your battery light will come on but all u have to do is pull out the gauges and take that light out
  11. no. see your car is pcm controled meaning your pcm decides what your chargeing voltage will be. mine would go between 13.2 - 15.0 and everywhere in between just diving down the road with everything off. it just picked its own voltage. which is no good if u are driving around at 13.3 and turn your system up haha. the adjustable voltage harnes lets u set your voltage at say 14.8 and it will be between 14.8 all the time. not taking into account for voltage drop. so basicly more voltage all the time. and if you wanted to run 16 or 18 volt systems you just turn the dial and voltage will go up. (DO NOT DO THAT UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT IT WILL TAKE TO RUN !^ OR !* VOLT SYSTEMS)
  12. OP word of advice. IF you decide to run a mechman pay the 75 bucks extra for the adjustable voltage version lol i didnt get it on my first H/O alt (irraggi) and i i hated it. now i have my mech man and i amp alot happier. stable voltage
  13. dont alpine's sub control have to be all the way up to get full voltage?
