  1. I could go 6" wider but I would like to keep my current dimensions instead of having to buy all new wood Here is a suggestion, took the 6" wide and 1" deep to reach the spec, hope you can fit that: Enclosure Specifications: Fb = 36 Hz Vb = 2.5 ft^3 External Height = 13.5 in External Width = 36 in External Depth = 17 in Port Width = 3 1/2 in Cut Sheet List: * All Dimensions in Inches. * Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts. External Enclosure Parts: 2 x Front & Back (3 parts) = 36 x 13 1/2 Left & Right Sides = 14 3/4 x 12 Top & Bottom = 36 x 14 3/4 L Port Internal Assembly Parts: Front to Back = 11 1/4 x 12 Extension = 10 13/16 x 12 Assembly guide (generic dimensions): Let me know any questions. Thank you very much Joe!
  2. After trying to install Torres for a good while, I've had no luck. Anyone feeling nice today and want to design a box for me?
  3. Ahh thank you, I'll work on doing that today
  4. It will be running at 1ohm off of a Hifonics hfi2000d, so it will probably be running 1700-1800 maybe less since I'm pretty positive that amp doesn't do rated.
  5. Yeah...at this point I'm probably going to have to go back to the drawing board. So if I were to start over what should my dimensions look like? I heard from audioque that the 12" does well in a 2.2 cubic foot box, but I also heard from people that have it that it does well in a 3 cubic foot box. So I'm basically lost overall. Still really new to all this car audio stuff.
  6. I've got everything cut out, I just need to figure out what length to make the port walls

  8. I know someone has some answers for me
  9. I need some help on a box I'm working on for a single AQ HDC3 12. I have a mac so I cant download Torres but I've been going between bcae1.com box calculator and the re audio box calculator. Both have me relatively lost so basically I need some help figuring out tuning. The box's dimensions are 30" wide, 16" deep and 13.5" high. I don't really know all the technical terms, so bare with me please. The first port wall (the one that is connected to the baffle or the front or whatever you call it) is 10" long and is 5" away from the side of the box, then the next wall making the L is 15" long. I hope that makes sense. I need someone to help me out with what my frequency is and what determines making the frequency higher or lower? I hope I can get some help
  10. Now is anyone able to identify the amp? The guy is telling me its a 800 watt gold series amp, haven't been able to find anything else out about it. Any help?
  11. I would get these just to resell, I'm trading something for them potentially, but I'm trying to figure out if its that worth it gotcha. well, i guess im not an expert on MTX. if they arent what all the high school kids want in your area dont get them ahha. Haha, well theyre all into name brand, I just wanna be able to hook them up to my amp so I can sell them better without having to worry about blowing them, or tearing a spider

  13. I'm not sure, might be dual 4. Im just trying to get some info on them before I go and check them out tomorrow
  14. If I were to run 2 in parallel and one in series, would it run at 1.5 ohms? And would that be fine on a hifonics hfi2000d
