Welcome, sorry for the crappy install they did on your ride.
It's really not that hard to install everything yourself and be proud of what you have accomplished, just takes time and patience and you'll be well rewarded for it.
EDIT: if you have problems with rain on your speakers get some of the baffles from here, you'll lose some bass from the speaker but better to have one working than not working.
x2 on what he said. Cut the bottom out so sound can escape, but will still keep rain off of them.

too many people think that if a system is playing, it is installed correctly. What a shame.

maybe this film is what made Joaquin Phoenix go bonkers for a little while. It says he narrated it. How ironic would it be if a higher species came to earth and treated us the same way.

sounds like a defect

my bad. I meant liar and a thief as the album title.( Truth, Frontlines, and standby ) in particular. good basslines. Been listening to Immortal Technique -The 3rd World album too. just as good.

are any wires tapped into the fusebox under the dash? Ive seen people try to cram wire in with a fuse instead of using an actual fuse tap. The connectors that touch the fuse ended up bent to far out. Hit a bump and the fuse would wiggle and lose power for a second. Have also seen where a factory power wire from battery chaffed against a battery tray. Put a radio in for customer. He comes back 5 minutes later. Every time he makes a right turn, the radio cut off. It just had to be our radio we sold him. He was certain. then we found the cut in the wire. When he cornered, the wire would touch the tray making the electronics dim for a second. Good luck.

>insert funky pup joke here

could you possibly have some speaker wires reversed? If you have any speakers out of phase, it will sound bad when the bass notes are playing.
