Same thing happens to my jeep.... It's ur big 3.. I had to take mine off bc when it got cold it charges way higher than in the summer.. I think the only thing that can fix it is an adjustable regulator

I have stinger rcas... I'm setting the gains on a 4 channel amp( fosgate 800-4ad)
Now I don't receive any type of light other than the power indicator..
I'm using the 1k track as stated in the manual..
As far as trying to get a signal through the amp I used the same method Steve used in his very first video when he got Byrd to set the gains on his original test bench

Ok so I just got a dd-1 yesterday tired it 4-5 times and then again today, but I've yet to find a signal.. Head unit is a pioneer 980bt amp is a fosgate 800-4 bd.. I watch all the videos, read the manual even searched the forum.. But dammit to no avail. I cut the gain now freq all the way up . Clip to amp ground and positive probe in to amp.. I don't even get a signal if the rcas are directly plugged in to the dd-1 please help

So essentially then i purchased the wrong charger?
-
How do I got about discharging the battery.... And yes I have the 1215
-
How do I go about doing that?
-
So I got my xs charger on Tuesday and decided to charge up my batteries.. Read the book 4 times to make sure I under stood everything and the I hooked it up.. Had a volt meter attached to keep a eye on things then I went back out side like 2 hrs later and it was a solid green light.. Indicating that it had been completely charged.. Well what throws me off is that the battery sits at 12.75 now... After a fresh charge is that a lil low or did everything go accordingly..
-
yea along with the big 3 up grade you should be fine. and if push come to shove ied like a lil D1200 or something like that for extra reserve

ive tried to get 3100 under the hood of my jeep and it wouldn't fit without making some major mods.. so if that's what you wanted you would have to construct a new tray to support a 80 LB battery.. So I suggest that you get the 6500 and make your life easier. As far a it being enough to support that much power. Ied still venture out to say no.. and would just go ahead and get a high-out put alt and save yourself some money, in the long run.
-
3100 won't fit in stock location in Chrysler dodge jeep without heavy mods its about 1-3/4 inch to tall go for the 6500

No thank you big daddy Steve!!!!!!!

So I can send in just a regular old stinger meter a d get the credit?

Theoretically speaking the lvl 3s would be louder an have around about the same power ratings as 1 lvl 5. Cone area an motor force .. Well I've never had a lvl 5 but logic stepping in tells me 4 lvl 3 Motors should have more motor force or about equal to the 5 . But you would would defiantly win the come area battle.. Lookin into. Gettin a good 5k amp for whatever setup you choose
