    ok well good news is i finaly found a song where i get my jeep to flex a little bit :yahoo: and blow little air out the drives window :hairtrick:

    bad nice is something is messing up when it hits the real lows in the song, h/u volume is 24 out of 36 so shouldn't be clipping there, amp gain is at half, low pass is half out of 40-200hz, sub sonic is at 1/4 out of 20-50hz. amp is not getting warm or going into protect, subs not blown checked all the coils, and even a funny smell, but when i hit the lows in the song is sounds and looks like the amp shuts off for a sec, well i played the song watch the subs and the amp, power light stays on no protect light. and both batteries have full charge......

    oh and i checked all the wires to make sure nothing was loose and shungged them up just to be sure....

    i shouldn't be clipping at all have all setting low and sound nice, and sounds fine on everything else but the lows in this song i don't know, i will check now see if the song is clipping but i don't think it is, doesn't seem louder then cd from store

    anyone else got some ideas??? i'm kinda at a loss :search:

    a little glass, some mdf, little less leg space... mmm i think it could be hehe. my thing is my libby is weird the door speakers are 6 3/4's but ya the plastic cover has a 8" beval? hehe just make me want to stick a 8" sub right there.

    but 4.5" deep mmm that might push it little bit. alot of mdf ring to space it out? lol

    ahh in time i'm sure i'll figure something out for my doors but this does give me a few good ideas in my head of what i might be able to do with the right skill/time/money :)

    What kinda jeep do you have also? smaller the suv i'm going to guess the easier it would be to get the air to move. and like alot will tell you the box has ALOT to do with it. i got one of the smaller jeeps "Liberty" and i know once i build a box for my subs instead of a permade box i heard a huge change and feel the change as pressure in my ears and stuff moving more with the beat. honestly i myself would have to think it has alot to do with the size of your jeep. full sized jeep might need more cone area to do a hair trick then a small jeep would? could be wrong on that so don't hold me to it. but if you can fit 18's in a proper built box i would save for those and the amp to power them atleast to their rms rating and even if you don't do a hair trick you will be happy :)

    all port edges will be 45's with a V peive in center of port between each chamber to help push the air out the port instead of chamber to chamber. and using 1" dolle and 45's on all corners for bracing might change box later when i learn more about making the but for now this seems good to me just need to save few months checks to get some bad ass dc's and give my type arrr's to my girl

    a h/o alt! maybe even 2! :shok: wow the prizes just keep getting better and better.

    few questions? does your system have to be over the top to enter? and i know you got to be 95% done, what if your done for now? like the set up you got right now is done but you plan on upgrading later on? and does it have to be in the member build section?

    wow d/c and everyone that gives out prizes just go out of their way to make people happy! big props to all who help steve with this kinda stuff :clapping:
