Oh it coulda been a whole lot worse than what it was, the passenger bag went of but the driver side didnt, shes still hurting and shit but they gave her 750mg vic's and flexeril so she is out of for most of the day <- thats the look she had when i got home from work today, looked like she had no idea what was going on i kno i kno its not funny but to see her yall woulda laughed too....

First let me say thanks to everyone whos chipped in with advice without you guys/gals..i would still be sitting here scratching my head....NOW for the shitty news... Friday after noon at exactley 1:02pm est i got a panicked phone call from my step mom, she rear ended an H3 hummer at about 40mph with her ford taurus ... the car is totaled, but she is okay thank god... she works about 40 miles from the house & shes out of a car...shes gonna buy my burban from me W/ OUT the system in it, so now im waiting on the bank to get back at me on another vehicle...

*update* Christmas came early today my dad works for advance auto parts, so i made a call to see if he could slide me a discount, he came thru huge for me...200 amp powermaster alternator & 2 yellow tops....really wasnt expecting it but i def wasnt gonna turn down some freebies guess ima go with a T40001.BD i guess if its good enuf for the man himself it cant be too bad...

This entire build has been a walk in the park cept for where im at now, i was really trying to avoid the 16V nightmare....but i guess thats where its going....i have decided i want to run only ONE amp for my subs...which really brings the whole amp thing down have only found a handful of true 4000x1: memphis, rockford, and soundstream are the ones off the top of my head...i just wanted to avoid the whole charging/electrical system upgrade(fiance is bitching as i type.....)

love that box...can u flip the measurements for me(4-12'' DC LVL 4's...) and correct me if im wrong but..best option for me would be to wire em series parallel to 1 ohm load...now i just need to figure out what amp i want theres just so many i cant decide,,,

hmmm....could i throw a memphis MC1.4000 at em...thats 4000x1 rms @ 1 ohm stable and its $1600.00 which is fairly cheap from what ive seen for amps..

1999 suburban current set up.. Receiver--Alpine TME-M790 Mids/Highs--MB Quart PVI-216(x2) and MB Quart PVI-269(x2) Mids/Highs Amp--MB Quart PAB-4100(x2) Im not looking to spend more than $1,500 on an amp/amps..Id prefer to do 2 amps over 1..guess thats the OCD coming out...lol

Okay ive done some caraudio installs in my time, but nothing nearly as complex as what im about to dive into , im seriously thinking about buying 4- DC LVL 4 12's, ive got someone lined up to build a box. And ive already got my deck, highs, mids, and amps bought/installed, the only thing im drawing blanks on is, amps for the subs and wiring the subs, ive never messed with more than 2 subs, and i dont really feel like blowing paychecks replacing subs or amps...any advice would be greatly appreciated...thanks....
