We are working on the claim now, but as you know people are never willing to aid the situation! If Nathan from XS could chime in that would be great as well. I personally would put the charger on it and see if it held the charge. Then I would load test it and check the results. If it checked out fine I would fix the crack and line the batteries up since I know you got 6 of them
then you wouldn't really see it. If you had room for a 7th battery I would look into that as part of the claim as well were you keep the damaged batt and get it replaced for your time and troubles. On a side note I presume the other 5 batteries are good? -
using torres and inputting the specs on the skar website there is something wrong:
Skar website: Outside Dimensions : 19” Wide x 20” Deep x 14.5” High says gross volume is 2.0 Ft ^3
Torres Calculator: Outside dimensions : 19” Wide x 20” Deep x 14.5” High says gross volume is 2.44 Ft^3
That difference is kind of a big deal especially since the skar site says its tuned at 32hz where as torres says its tuned at 39hz?
I am basically trying to figure out why there is such a big difference as I am trying to design a box for a honda accord, but the information isn't adding up.

A discount code and free shipping normally gets things sold pretty good. I got a little excited at the price, but didn't believe it to much it would be a STEAL given its backed up on the AD-1 in regards to power output!!

How about (if there is a next time) you skip the employee and go next door yourself and talk to the manager face to face? lol sounds like a bitch move hiding behind the said "employee" in general that sounds shady as hell to have to call the manager who is next door?! After reading this again I agree it sounds more like a he said she said type of deal. They figured by the sounds of it that since you said you traveled that 80 miles you would be hard pressed to turn down that $220 price.

I guess I wasnt clear and caused confusion. What I meant was if they went through the trouble to break the amp they got from you as well that would be a shame just to try and win the claim. Hopefully that makes more sense. I know they sent you a pic of a different amp, I was saying if they went through the trouble to do the same thing to your amp they got thats beyond belief to me.

That is really fucked, but hopefully given the serial numbers wont match it may be enough proof? I could be wrong, but why would you go through the trouble to break a perfectly good amp just to win the claim? Then your stuck with 2 broke amps.....I guess they figured it would go in the favor. Either way that sucks and I hope these 2 fuck boys get whats coming to them by way of the law.

After reading through all the bitching, crying, and complaining about what steve should and shouldnt do I arrived at the end. I just want to say STFU if its not your rig I am sure the user did their research if they are at the building stage, if not check the computer section and you notice people asking for help go fucking troll over there. Onto more realistic questions: What keyboard/mouse do you use for gaming? Do you have a sound card or something that allows you to play at your shop utilizing those 8ft towers you have? If so that would be PURE SICK! If not Im sure your happy either way, because you have a very nice computer thats going to last you a good while before its time for an upgrade again.

works for me man, it just sucks to see this happen as well. 5 show up fine 1 gets damaged wtf! All were brand new and UPS had to screw it up!
