Your not walling it? Slot port would be easier to do and fairly spot on with aeros. Its really a builders world. The 18s would be the more cone area, the 15s would be the more motor force and coils. Honestly I think its more about what your personally trying to do. I like the 4-15 idea better personally for my own personal reasons. If cost would be a factor I would venture to say the 18s would be the cheaper route.

A few things to point out (dont get upset) the amp 99% sure will not see a final 1ohm load. With that being said your 99% sure not going to see 2100 RMS watts out of that amp! Honestly if you didnt know much about building a box etc why not ask the manufacturer? Im sure rusty or any of the reps would have pointed you in the right direction before now. price range would help. You said 1 ohm so you got D4s. The fosgate amps do pretty close to the same power from 1ohm up to 2ohm which would help with rise some. Need more info. What are the plans for electrical?
