That is true, there is a spring rate difference between the v6 and v8 springs. It is not advised to use the wrong springs since it will affect your handling, load capacity, towing, tires rubbing, suspension travel, braking and also if you have a good size system in your vehicle, you will notice it will not look properly lowered from the outside. See, if you can exchange them or return them and be able to to get the correct springs for your suv

Well, I am having trouble doing, I clicked on full editor on the bottom, but how do I go to the first post.
-
Well, I would like to change the title on the thread about my build. How do i change it, i feel like a idiot if it is simple.

The connectors to the 0 gauge wire.
-
Basically watch that I am doing it right and give any pointers or suggestions, cause this will be my first time doing it.

Well, what type of torch or soldering gun do I need to use?
-
Well, I got a amp kit and come to realize, I don't have the tools to do the correct soldering. Is there anyone local in or around the sacramento area, that could help me out?

I know, was just excited that she wants a system too. I will be taking picture of her suv tomorrow morning and oh by the way the headunit that I will be installing is a kenwood kdc-mp342u

Well, along with doing a system in my truck, my girlfriend (soon to be wife) wants me to do a small system in her 2003 Kia Serento. I picked up a kenwood headunit (will post up the model number after I get off of work). I will post up pictures of her vehicle when I get some good daylight out and when I start on the system.

You should do it, I like the color.

I was hoping that they would have news about their products coming to verizon.
-
You know he did the right thing about coming on here and asking, cause sometimes dealers donT know everything, they sell. I have been to car stereo shops and have asked the sales person about a product in which sometimes they know very little or much at all. I bet some or many of you have dealt with similar sistuations, in which you knew more about the product then the sales person. I respect this person for asking questions, instead of just assuming and having a pissed off customer that will bad mouth the shop or store.

How does the 23 look for you.

I haven't soldered anything in a long time. I will give it a try. I also have a blown sub, that I can grab the tinsel off to extend the one on this sub. If I don't have any luck, I will contact you skittles.

Sacramento and surrounding areas. If need be, I could drive outside the area or mail it to someplace or someone who could repair it.
-
Well, after pulling the sub out of the box, come to find out the tinsel broke off the connector. Anyone local, that can help me repair this.
-
Ah dude that sucks... il take lots of pics for ya.
Thank you. That would be awesome.
-
I would be going, but due to broken motor mount, three bad alts in a row and bad tires, my money is going to parts and repairs for my car.
-
If i remeber right, it was on Orange County Choppers show a while back.
