so now i am thinking i should just take out the old port dont have enough room to make it long enough to ge to 33/35hz== and do a new one but go with two-4'ports like 11'long does that sound about right to get it tune to 33/35hz and thanks again for your help

i have the boston-g5/12' svc-in the box the man that done the box works at a shop that sells boston subs and this is what he built me and told me thats the box thay shoud be in-- but it sounds like shit on anything i play. this was a gift from me for a good friends sun on his-b-day- and i would like it 2sound good but ant shure what 2do to the box 2get it right..i have a boston gt28 runing the subs at2o at the amp and the hiend has a boston amp runing all boston 6.5comps in all 4doors the mid/top sound dam good bass like shit/// if any one can help me out with this it would be great--and again thanks 2all who have replyed 2this.

whats it going to cost you to have the amp and subs fixed-- i would hope thay took care of there customers if it was not your fault the amp went up in smoke and took the sub with it-----i would just like to no if thay took care of you---

that autotek only makes like -1200/1500rms look at the fuse on it that will tell you how much power it makes --tried one and it dose not make 2000rms--i dont think so anyway

the autotek mx5000--only makes like-1200watts x 2--at 1ohm =2400watts thats like 300rms ea sub all i had was two batcap 300 and a 130amp alt i did not have a problem at all with keeping the volts up-- had a set of 6.5'' comp's in ea door off a -ppi-pc 2150--it was very loud--the box was --10cf--before port and bracing-- i think i had like 8.6cf net

i have done-8--cvr-10''subs in a 2000 s10 excab subs front port on top and it was very loud had sub on a AUTOTEK mx5000 -- i think you will need more power than the amp you have--but you can do a badass set up in that truck
