  2. Measure your battery HxWxD and visit the XS battery website. Batteries designed for under the hood are the S series, S3400, S1400 etc. Pick one that will fit into your stock battery location. Im sure Nathan will pop in here sometime but its Sunday so maybe tomorrow.

  7. The 11.25 is just the inside dimension after subtracting the thickness of the wood. If your going to make an adjustment change the other dimension. It will be a lot easier to build.
  8. If your planning on making a slot port box you need to adjust your port size. 11.25 height x whatever gives you the port area you need. I just threw it in the calculator myself. 11.25 x 1.75 with the dimensions you provided. That will get you a 1.25 net volume tuned to 38.5hz with a port length of 24 inches and 15.75 sq inch of port per cube. If your building a slot port and using the top, bottom and side wall of the box put 3 in the box for # of common port walls. You also need to add in for sub displacement, I just guessed and entered .1 for the 2 - 8's.
  9. I think BJ is going to be running a Bass Boxing comp at the event. Wish I could attend this. Of all the weekends this summer my family has to have their get together on the 19th.

  14. I have a Pro audio amp, Behringer ep2500. Just plug it into the wall and run a cord from my sub out on the receiver to the amp. Pounds the hell out of the house.
  15. Get a mini jack split to L & R rca cable. Plug the mini jack into the output from you sound card. Hook the L & R rca up to a stereo receiver's input, CD, Phono, Aux just pick one. Your done. I have my computer hooked up to a Harmon Kardon receiver and use it every day for music, movies whatever. Have 2 Infinity towers and 2 RBH rear channel speakers for the highs and mids with an amp and a 12" sub for the bass. I will never go back to speaker systems built for computers.

  19. CA glue works great bonding fabric to car interior plastics. You can get Gorilla CA glue at hardware stores now. I didnt see activator though. You dont need it but it does make the glue set instantly and makes things a lot easier. Plus its a permanent bond. Any decent hobby shop should sell CA glue and activator.

  23. Yup. Just make sure the washer has the same dia hole as the one in the bottom of the post. Its either that or use the post with an after market terminal attached to it and attach the ring terminals to it.
  24. Look at the bottom of one of the terminal posts. If the dia of the hole in your ring terminal is larger that that you will pull the threaded insert out of the Ibar. I bought large flat washers and drilled a hole in it to match the one in the terminal post. You can see them under my ring terminals. This wont fix your problem unfortunately. I found out the hard way just like you did. This was my solution when I got the second set.
