  1. 2 - 8" diameter subs is not equal to a 16" diameter sub. You would have to have 4 - 8" diameter subs to equal a 16" diameter sub.

    Doubling the diameter increases its capacity 4 times.

    To find the area of a circle, multiply the the square of the diameter by 0.7854.
