I'm moving down to the Baltimore/DC area soon and I am in the process of looking for a new job. I am pretty fresh into the workforce, as I just got my degree in economics in July 08. I am currently auditor for a magazine auditing firm, where excellent customer service is an absolute necessity. I am looking for anything in finance, auditing, etc, basically anything that will start a career in finance. Any help or pointers is much appreciated!

First off this isn’t going to be another one of those “I got caught bumping” threads... So the Tuesday after Memorial Day I left my apartment for work and got pulled over for allegedly running a red light….I pled not guilty. So I got a letter in the mail saying that the prosecutor was going to review my case and that if I had anything that would help me to mail it in. Well I did just that. My case was that where the cop was parked she could have not seen the light because of blocked trees and a bus, EVEN if she could have it wasn’t safe for me to stop (by the way, the light was 100% yellow as I entered the intersection). I went on to plead my case in the page long letter with about 10 pictures, diagrams, bus schedule, maps, addresses, and the law about not being able to safely stop. Well in the end, the other day I got a letter in the mail saying all charges were dropped, no fines, fees or anything was due and the DMV would be notified. What a feeling it was…

uh oh...my hp wireless crapped out not too long ago as well. I found out mine is due to faulty hardware known for my series...dv9000 (and dv6000 is affected too). Dunno if its the same thing, but see if there is a wireless driver in the driver section.

I'm still pretty new to the car audio scene, but I would think something like a handheld would be on hand at most shops? I dunno much about the shop in question...its near the gym I go to so I drive by it all the time....its either that or best buy haha jk

So I just finished installing my equipment this past weekend, and I wanted to use an o-scope to set the gains (I did the 3/4 ear deal, but just like the extra security). So I call up a local shop and ask if they have one, and they said they dont need one, the only way they would need to use one is someone was strapping amps or two amps to a DVC. He then goes on to tell me they are way to expensive to have when you would only get a few uses out of it. Then says that there only a few shops in the state that have them (I'm in CT).....is this common??? After scrolling around the forums...oscopes seem to only be a few hundred that would suffice car audio....that cant be too much for a shop... Just wondering if this was common cuz I know guys on here own or work at a shop...

mmm I dont know if the upgraded HU is supposed to just have a factory harness or hell I dont know what the back looks like at all. Use what the guy said above. Ok, I know there will be liberal bashing as usual. But I was curious of what people thought of the new 60th senate vote (Franken). So far I am about 85% happy with Obama and his policies. I feel like the Republicans are constantly offering nothing when they oppose something, and the only way they are happy is if it is completely changed. I understand bi-partisanship, but when the opposing side offers nothing to rebuttal, then what is the point? My question is, will Obama get his ass moving now that there is majorty in the house and senate? Or will he just continue to move at a snails pace. Please, lets not turn this into an Obama bashing thread, I just want to know if people think he is going to deliver on those campaign promises.

No, but then they would be out of phase, usually seen with inverted subs... 5. Thats because there are two wires instead of 1, ie 1+1 = 2 which would be the size of the big wire....
