i mean another 100$ and you can get an AQ 2200D which does rated power and are fairly solid amps

i might be intrested, what would push 2 jl w7's 12" 2000w/1000rms both bridged would be 1.5, so what is capable pushing 2000rms @ 1.5 ohm load
itll easily do more than 2k at a 1.5ohm load. better have god eletrical tho

if you have great eletrical. and give the lvl 4's the right power and build a really solid enclosure theyll be loder than the W0's with the same curcumstances. the W0 are more SQ woofers not for SPL so much

starting to come up with some ideas for a better box any suggestions guys. so far i have 2 4'' external aeros on the drivers side sub either in the middle or on the passengers side

where is your amp grounded out to i didnt have a good enough grounding point on mine and it wouldent turn on as well. also in your power and ground terminals make sure there is NO wire exposed even one little strand laying over the from the wrong terminal can either send your amp into protect or blow it compleatly

Im using winisd to calculate my port length. Now lets say it says my port length should be 15" and my box is 30" deep. And my port sits in the middle of the box on the bottom, using the bottom board as a part of the port, lets say 4"h x 12"w. Would I cut the port piece 15", 17" or 13"????
if you subtracted the .75 from the external dims of the box them yes that is correct

HI EVERYONE this is my problem right now i have, when i try to run my mid and high speaker to amp 4 channel
i hear a really buzzing noise from my speaker and when i took the rca from head unit out is northing sound like before
now when i hook my unit in to plug and play it northing sound form it too and everything is work but no sound i really need help everyone!!!!!!!

i think the guys name on here is mxmike
he used to have bl's in his reg cab truck, but switched to aq, anyway he metered good and used external aero ports, try getting ahold of him and see if he can give you any tips
he had one bl 12. then to hdc3 10's but he has alot more space behind the seat mounting depth wise damn midsize pickups. time for a blowthru

2 4in aeros would be good for that size box.
and your port is on the passenger side. that means louder to you, then on the meter. if your port was on the driver side youd be a little louder on the meter.

thats not a bad score tho for 1 12" in your truck at all --- keep goin at it and you will only get louder from here on out

but if you dont compete the numbers dont mean much. its all about how it sounds to you.

How do you know what your impedance rise was if you didnt clamp it? "confused:
And to clamp it you need a True RMS Clamp Meter and a DMM, not just a DMM..

i dont know how i could get my hands on one of those. and i dont know my impedance rise. i was just guessing. thanks for the help tho man. im thinking about compleatly rebuilding the box after i get my alt and batts. that should probably get me a better score. -
I dare say 43hz is just your box peak and is way, way off your cabin peak.
If you wanna burp higher, do a new box tuned higher. Otherwise it's about right, score-wise.
yea i need more power and better electrical. the box is going to be done after all of the necessities are done lol
What kicker 1200.1 are you running? They just came out with 1 ohm stable amps new for 2010 but i think they only go up 2 1000.1 in the 1 ohm stable line.its an old 2004 KX1200.1 and it is 1ohm stable

with any of theese drivers were talking around 6-8k in total cost when it comes to alternators batteries multiple runs of 1/0 gauge. just throwing it out there since most people jump on here and say OMG i want some 18 BTL's man
