complete subs only no motors sorry
-
if you raise tuning it will perform better with the truck sealed
-
battery power =)
-
trying pulling the subs out and swapping them if the noise is coming from the same sub there may be an issue with the sub if it switches subs then we know the issue is with your enclosure
-
any other questions you have just give us a call at the shop we are glad to help 855 775 3299
-
with altenators you get what you pay for i only use mechman so thats my recommendation sorry
-
its not that they suck just in your application they will be a waste of money they are used to help steady slight voltage dips not dropping a few volts every time the bass hits. so they will get drained and its just another thing your alt has to recharge even though it isnt really helping
-
definately seems like a loading issue to me, ideally you want the subs the same distance to the port
-
could be a loading issue pics of your enclosure please. also thats a pretty high tuning are you playing below tuning when this happens?
-
does this have the same board as the now ct sounds amps?

unfortunately the 8s do not have any options available

23x20x59 port 18.5x7.5x18L net volume 10.92 port area 138.50 tuning-35.14. should give you a decent bandwidth and do well on rated power
-
with the dimensions you listed you dont really have room for two 18s your right at 10.70 cubic ft
-
the m3 xl 15 hasnt been oficially released just yet, we can build them but havent finished the testing 100%. i do not think the rms will change at all even when we finish all of the testing

i would call johnny at sky high car audio he knows eclipses inside and out
-
all of ours subs are good for daily =)
-
i would just read them individual to be sure maybe he sent you a d1 by mistake and one of your coils is blown
-
I went and talked to the best audio shop in my area today about if they were interested. He actually told me no because of the price of your equipment. He explained how most people come in and wan to spend as little as posiible. I tired to tell him about the different levels but I don't think he was catching my drift. Anyways I'm hoping to get 2 level 2 12s soon to put in my truck so whenever I get that done (hopefully really soon) I'm gonna go show him what DC entry level is about lol. The level 2s are cheaper than half the kicker and rockford and memphis he carries.
i appreciate your effort =)

each coil reads 1 ohm? or it reads 1 ohm after being wired to your amp?
-
first thing i would do is measure the impedance of the voice coils
-
both, majority of the new amps are blue, but every once in a while a brown board sneaks in there
-
what is the recommended box size for the m3 12s?
1.5 net
M38's as midbass?
in DC Sound Lab - Big Bass on ANOTHER LEVEL!

we put dc 8s in kicks for midbass works pretty well in my opinion, true sq guys will tell you the response is too slow but in the vehicles we have built with them there has never been a complaint
