  1. To be honest I am at the age now where the kids are old enough that they want to hang around there friends now.. so I prefer to just work so people with younger kids can take them to fireworks. I have seen them enough besides my neighbor lights off fireworks all year round.
  2. the usual stuff... I might even play sounds of fireworks going off really loud in mt ride bet explosions sound good...
  3. I could probably get by with the gain all the way down couldn't I... I would think I would not have to turn it up at all.
  4. It would just be temporary until I got my other P2's... of course if it sounds like ass then I would just use the p2's by them self
  5. So better off just running at 4 ohm? or how could I wire it to get the most out of the amp without smoking the subs? That makes sense.. never thought of it like that
  6. That is my concern there too much power for what I have for now.... Have to wait to get a couple more p2 12's to take full advantage of the T10001bd
  7. Wouldn't the T10001bd smoke the p2 12's at 2ohm .. .I believe that is 750rms that would be 375rms for each and they are only rated at 250rms at 1 ohm it would be 500rms each... that would fry them for sure
  8. I have 2 P2 12's duel coil 4 ohm and 1 12 in 4 ohm sub Can I temporary hook it up this way until I get 2 more P2 subs? P2 12 @ 8ohms p2 12 @ 2ohms 1 12 @ 4 ohms according to the ohm calculator this would work out to 1.14 ohms please dont bang me if this is a stupid question.. But I really need to know because I dont know I am getting my T10001bd today and I need a temporary solution until I can get 2 more subs Either that or I can go 2ohm 2ohm 4ohm for a total of .80 ohm but I dont think the amp can handle that and I am not comfortable doing that. I would like to use the full capabilities of the amp if I could I could just wire the p2's at 4ohm but then I am only using half the amp.
  9. What are the dimensions of your box... Pics? Thank you
  10. It is tuned at 33hz now Would 2hz make that big of a difference? I know this may be a stupid question.. But I have to know Sweet that is good news... I will just keep the gains all the way down and keep my hands off of the Tuners bass control for subs. my other option is 2 - 10's and 2- 12's but I though I would be better off with just pushing the 2 ten's hard. I dont thing the P2 12's can handel the Rockford Fosgate T10001bd... what do you think? I could just take out my L2 on the port and that would be right at 35hz
  11. What would be the best way of changing the tuning of This box? This is a view of the port Maybe it would be best to leave this box for the 12's and make a new one for the 10's What would be a good tune for 10's Keep in mind I love having low end but I like a good punch to my Rock n Roll too
  12. According to Vas it should be 2.084 So I should be alright with 2.1 or 2.2 will it make that big of a difference. This may be a dumb question but I had to ask Company: Rockford Fosgate Corp. 13. I found it... this is the exact woofer Mine is the 4 ohm Now this said 300 RMS but the guy I bout it from said he had a 1000 watt Alpine amp on these and they handled fine.
  14. My 12's were P2's The 10's are Punch Power DVC Does the same volume apply to these?
  15. So do you think I could get more out of these Subs if I rebuild a box for 1.75 cubes after displacement? Do you think 2.2 Cubes is to much for 10's? I think this is it in BassBox pro Company: Rockford Fosgate Corp. 16. Do you remember what your ported box dimensions were? I thought that my ported box for 2 twelves would have been too big for the 10's but they sound very good in that box. Like I said I went from 2 12in P2 12's to 2 10" Punch Power series 10's My box size after displacement for the twelves was 2.1cf So I figured I would be giving the 10's Probably 2.2cf - 2.3cf tops. I cant find any info on the 10" Subs since they don't make them anymore
  17. My friend that use to compete in shows thought that I might be doing 130db with the 10's right now. and that is with a P6002 amp on them giving each sub 300 RMS... now how much of an improvement will I see when I am putting 500 possibly 550 RMS to each sub?
  18. Like the title said.. I have 2 P2 12's in a custom box I built and it was tuned to 33hz. I use the RE Box designer to get the dimensions I needed and it did a lot better then the Rockford Box that the P2 12's came in. So I find this great deal on some Punch Power pro 10's.. they came in two separate boxes that dident even give them 1 cubic foot so I figured I would make another board to fit the top of the box I just made and make that board for 2 10's. I was giving the 10's about 2.2 Cubic Foot a piece in my box . I will be dammed those 10" subs sounded better then the 2 P2 12's at the same wattage.. 2 Punch Power 10's > 2 P2 12's so I guess I will keep the 10's in there for now because when I get my T10001bd amp the 10's will be able to take the power...the p2 12's cant.
  19. For now just single coverage.. should be a hell of a lot better then what I have now. and I would be getting a two fold bonus quieter ride and better sound. maybe the Second Skin Rep can quote me a price for 100Sq Foot... Has anyone ever used Zilla Mat or Fat Mat and how were your results..
  20. Well I hear how deadening the doors makes the door speakers sound a lot better so I wanted complete coverage there.. and The Rear hatch door takes a pounding so I wanted to cover that completely.
  21. damn I was thinking like 250sq I definitively want full coverage of the all doors, Full coverage of the rear hatch door.. I was thinking a different route for the floor but I want to get some deadener on the roof to especially above where Subs are.
  22. Ok I am to the point where I need to get some Sound Deadener put in the vehicle... How much is needed for a 2003 Mercury Mountaineer roughly. Same as 2003 Ford Explorer. 4dr model with 3 row seating and also while I am at it what other types of products have people use for sound deadening?
  23. Wouldn't that all be in the box tuning? As long as I tune the box's the same I should be alright? Right?
  24. I was planning on trying to put this in to my system to see how it sounds.. two 12's and these two 10's on a RF 10001BD amp Either that or leave my p6002 on my p2d412's and put the T10001bd on the 10's My p2's cant handle the T10001bd but I think the 10's can
