If all works out I will be adding another AQ3500 in the next coming months then going to a few shows next summer. Been wanting to get it metered for quite awhile. Sadly it never got metered before the deadener was applied. No shops around here have termlabs. We drove around everywhere we could within like an hours drive. No luck.

Here's an older video of my Durango before it was sound deadened.

In the after video you can see the flex is much less obnoxious. The panel seems to move as a whole and it much more quiet. Only one layer of AlphaDamp is on the roof panels.

Finally I am able to do my review on AlphaDamp from Second Skin. This is long overdue so I wont bullshit too much.
Overall, I am impressed and I only applied one layer, the true test will be later today when I get to open up the subs and see how the roof flexes. I figured the roof would be the best place to see a good before and after. I did sound deaden a small patch of the floor and will be putting a little on the hatch. I only got 20 sq ft so the roof has the priority.
Before pics, got a little out of hand with the Efoam but it was kind of fun. Will be adding more eventually.

I am very happy, I will be upgrading next summer to more power so once i add a couple D3100s we will see how she does. Not sure how much I want to put on the one alt but we will see what she can do. Adding another alt would be tricky without removing somethin in my Durango and I want to keep my air conditioner etc so we'll try and get the most out of her.

With it getting dark so early it is harder for me to get a good video so I just took one with my droid quick to throw it up. The voltage is took at the head unit, when measured at the back battery with a DMM its usually .1 -.2 higher I just never bothered to run a wire. The voltage you see is the lowest it gets. Thanks Mechman.

I actually have these, they sound great but you have to be very careful as the wire near the end at the red part will tear quite easily, happened to me and now my right side doesnt work. I won them in a contest, I was gonna buy them as it was but ended up winning them from a local shop, so i didnt lose any money in the matter. I kept it in my pocket while walking to class and one day my right side cut in and out and if id hold it a certain way it would work fine but overtime it just stopped.

Was brand new from Mechman when I bought it, fresh out the box pics. You can't see it when its in the car and its workin great. I got lil if any voltage drop so I'm happy. Ill see what Matt says about it. Good lookin out guys.

what is up with the left side ear on the new alt? was it ground down for clearance, or did it break off, and welding back on???
No Idea, those pics are fresh out of the box. It bolted right in though. See what Mechman says if he checks this again.

It definitely does, I sit at 14.0 at the lowest full tilt, with just the stock batt upfront n a 6500 in the back. Running the AQ3500 at 1ohm and the 4x90 at 4. My car only sits at like 14.2 with music completely off so and rarely ever see a 14.4 so I'm no expert but that tells me the alt is doin work.

15s was the original plan but I researched for awhile and upgraded 3-4 times. I got more pics but I figured the sub pics belonged here.

Thanks everyone, yeah the camera is my friends Droid 3, tho some of the videos are with the original droid.
I'm anxious to see how it is when I add another 3500. The AlphaDamp did help out the roof a lot, the dumbass on the roof helped aswell haha.
