  1. Yep i got the same numbers 14.5h x 3w x 22.5L port should tune to about 32 to 33hz hey decaf what program is that just curious
  2. ahh so what programs are they
  3. lol i understand i hate clarion for the same reason god their radios are ugly
  4. the diablo is just way too much for this setup like i said try the hifonics i don't think you will be disappointed
  5. bass box pro hasn't let me down yet very reliable program what are you using or are you doing it by hand
  6. ok so probably i low tune then let me see what i can come up with
  7. what kind of music then maybe that will give me an idea
  8. yeah sorry about that reran the numbers and came up with 34in length 32.04 hz the 18in length will give you 38.29 hz but i did not take into account any bracing just the sub im using bass box pro 6 for the record
  9. what freq are you trying to get out of the box
  10. what about the Soundstream RW-12 looks like a decent sub for the money have heard a few decent sq but they will get loud in the right box
  11. hmm i'll have to check that again but 22 seemed right on the money
  12. thanks so far guys i have 4 or five of the flared ports at home tight now and a few spare subs i may do some tests boxes but any more info would be great
  13. wow so far no opinions hmmm come on guys and gals let me know johnny 5 need input need input lol
  14. vent length seems to need to be 22-23 in, 22 is probably safe anyway hope this helps
  15. wow really well given the setup i have i guess you could understand that, my 9887 has 4 volt that led to a tld-66 that outputs about 7 volts rms to my amps but yeah i dont get how pioneer is getting away making things that cheap well we shall see how good they are i have little hope for them given the in dash units i've had from them i feel the same way about them that you do about eclipse i guess
  16. well i guess if i had to keep in that price range i'd go with the Eclipse AVN6620BT has just about everything and is a little cheaper than the jvc it has bluetooth , nav 5 volt preouts, full screen, ipod ready and a decent eq
  17. sounds like a bad remote cable or port on the unit had the same problem with my brutus amps I just gave up on using the remotes all together hope this helps.
  18. id have to agree with that the nav is awesome pre out are stong the only one i like better is the iva-w505 because you can add imprint
  19. i don't understand what do you want to know ahhhhhhhhhh newbs give me headaches.
  20. so if you want to do those dimensions you would need at least an 8in port to get into the 30's and that would be 38hz if you only have the 5in to work with you will end up with about 44hz hope that helps
  21. the hifonics 6410 is 85 a chan and just to let you know those infinty 6x9s cant handle that they are over rated maybe more like 70 to 80 rms and as far as the rockfords those are the shallow mounts so you may want to account for that too i watched a pdx 4.100 fry those 6x9's before, that is if your trying to stay under 200 bucks shipped. Just my insight
  22. how far up is your rear deck and what freq do you want how many ports just one 4in will it be flared answer these and i might be able to help
  23. I have a 2004 corolla i need a set of pods built for the A-pillars for a set of tx4001 comps. I can do it but i hate fiberglass and would rather not fool with it.
  24. well most people that i see with them run 3-4 thousand to them i mean look at meade for an example 4000 a sub the 2610 will probably give you between 2400-2800 depending on voltage but no more than that.
  25. I will soon be building a new enclosure for 6 0f the new 12in 5500 mtx squares and i am trying to decide on a port method I would like to see big numbers on the termlab. My question is what are the pros and cons of a kerfed port vs a standard slot vent vs flared round ports. I have used used both slotted and round flared. I have plenty of room to work with as it will be a wall but don't know which will yeild the best numbers. Thanks for any help
