when im driving at night and my fans cut on, i hear a drop in my system volume for a brief second. (may sound like nuffin but its annoying after a while) im guessing its a voltage drop. i still have my stock alternator and was wondering if it would make a difference if i did the big 3 now...(i am planning to get a new alternator later down the line) would i get a more constant voltage??

so i changed my oil today and my ass put 10w 40 in my car :01nocomment8so: ... about an hour after the oil change, i decide to check what kind i shoulda put...5w 30... what if i go change my oil to 5w 30? could i use the same oil filter from todays change???

its a bullshit '1200 watt max' sony amp...(i dont kno the rms). its a 2 channel and its not bridged...its in a single chamber but i unwired one of the subs from the amp and it was different then when i unplugged one of the rca's...i just was curious...no real reason to do this...

i was about to check to c if one of my subs hit noticeably harder then the other and i unplugged one of the rca cables to do so and both my subs were still playin! wth is goin on??

i understand... but really, i took the wires straight off of the amp and put the - to the - on the battery and the 1 from the + on the amp to the + on the battery and the sub was moving inward...i switched it and i really didnt notice a difference...this really became a ? when i heard sum1 talkin about a layout where 2 subs were in and 2 where out of phase. one that was in was facing one that was out... (i wouldnt do that but...it just caught my attention)

i think ima take my subs out the box to c how they're wired...(i bought them in the box already...) make sure they're wired how they're supposed to b...

my favorite bullshit 1200 watt sony xplod amp. lol which is definitely NOT near 1200 watts rms...i dont even kno the rms...but i still get a nice every day ride sound!

yes sir...checked it wit a battery and it was movin inwards...i was getting sound. bass and all...just not sure if i cant tell the difference between then and now, besides the fact that i heard certain sounds more...i think

just the other day, sumthin told me to check my polarity on all my speakers and realized that one of my subs was out of phase (2 12's)...i wired it correctly and im not sure if i hear or feel a difference...just curious if theres n e 1 that has half of their subs in phase and half out?? maybe i heard certain notes a little better when i had one outta phase...not too sure tho

its secure but i wouldnt say real secure...it had a metal piece on each side to secure it to the dash and i only have one screw on each side, giving it a little room to rotate... but it only rotates when u put pressure with ur hand...(if i knew how to put up pics i would show u...)
