  1. it's going to be hard to contact him. he's a busy person. plus there's plenty of people here who have the knowledge to do so, and who have/had a carputer in their vehicle. myself included.

do you have a set carputer in mind? they can be kinda bulky, but the more you spend, the tinier they can be. i'm not sure how much room there is under the dash there, but i imagine it's not a lot

  2. just for clarification, say i had 2 mono amps (even tho they'd be gain matched), would i be able to hook up channel 1 to one amp, then channel 2 to the other amp to monitor both? not sure how the technical circuitry works on this thing

yes. They are individual channels and both are adjustable.

you can do bass on one side and highs on the other if you choose :)

    awesome, that's what i assumed. thanks :)

  3. the further the sub is away from the port opening *inside* the box, the better it is. it might not make a difference, if any, but in reference to that picture i'd move the sub to the right to put it in front of the L part of the port that's inside the box. should give it a better loading environment. if i recall correctly that is

  4. this question is asked so often. please read the help window, it's explained in there. even includes links to pictures. put in 4 common walls and see what happens with the output boxes. the common port walls box refers to the top, bottom, left, and right sides of the port, nothing with the walls inside the box

EDIT: and yes, you can have too much port area. and in that type of box, it should be 3 common port walls, not 2. also looks like you need to put a 1 in the 'extra baffles' box judging from the sketchup

  5. look through timmy's section on here. groundpounder2k2 is his SN here. he's a fiberglassing BEAST and has so many threads with SO many pictures. that will show you the steps you need to do. it's a time consuming process, even the small projects. i'm about to start a small project, and plan on taking a couple weeks. but i don't work in a hurry. take your time with it
