props to you man. i know that wasn't an easy road to travel

questions like this are contradictory imo. you can either get good SQ and sacrifice numbers, get good numbers and sacrifice SQ, or get mediocre SQ and numbers. gotta pick what you rather have the most, can't have it all. i'd prefer better for daily since that's what you'd use it for most often

that is a beautiful trunk setup. nicely done

it's going to be hard to contact him. he's a busy person. plus there's plenty of people here who have the knowledge to do so, and who have/had a carputer in their vehicle. myself included.
do you have a set carputer in mind? they can be kinda bulky, but the more you spend, the tinier they can be. i'm not sure how much room there is under the dash there, but i imagine it's not a lot

if anything, it'll help improve it as it'll ease the airflow through the port
-
it'll take some fiberglassing and most likely some intricate work to incorporate the computer itself in there if you want it hidden.

clean as you go?
-
you are exactly correct
haha i like how you link to that thread, and that thread links to here lol

if you were to measure down the inside of the port, the effective port length would be shorter. likewise, if you were to measure down the outside of the port, it would be longer. measuring down the middle of the width of the port gives you an accurate measurement.

just for clarification, say i had 2 mono amps (even tho they'd be gain matched), would i be able to hook up channel 1 to one amp, then channel 2 to the other amp to monitor both? not sure how the technical circuitry works on this thing
yes. They are individual channels and both are adjustable.
you can do bass on one side and highs on the other if you choose
awesome, that's what i assumed. thanks

the further the sub is away from the port opening *inside* the box, the better it is. it might not make a difference, if any, but in reference to that picture i'd move the sub to the right to put it in front of the L part of the port that's inside the box. should give it a better loading environment. if i recall correctly that is

this question is asked so often. please read the help window, it's explained in there. even includes links to pictures. put in 4 common walls and see what happens with the output boxes. the common port walls box refers to the top, bottom, left, and right sides of the port, nothing with the walls inside the box
EDIT: and yes, you can have too much port area. and in that type of box, it should be 3 common port walls, not 2. also looks like you need to put a 1 in the 'extra baffles' box judging from the sketchup

i also insure packages too. if something DOES happen, it should cover it and you won't be out of money. just some time getting it all sorted out
-
the only finished picture i have of this in the daylight. i'll check the build log and see if there's another there

look through timmy's section on here. groundpounder2k2 is his SN here. he's a fiberglassing BEAST and has so many threads with SO many pictures. that will show you the steps you need to do. it's a time consuming process, even the small projects. i'm about to start a small project, and plan on taking a couple weeks. but i don't work in a hurry. take your time with it

i always sell items like this 'as is' stated in the auction

damn! it will probably be gone by the end of this weekend, but if it's not, i'm taking the wire. gotta work a few shifts to make some decent money this weekend lol

i been planning on checking out kaliko's new album. i like about 4 of the 6 songs on that EP. LOVE the intro to klusterfuk. HATE the bitch talking at the end of it. lol
tech is raw in concert. i wanna see him again, but next time i get to would be july 4th, so i'm not sure how that'll pan out for me

Why not "go big or go home"?
because if you go too big and miss a small step, you could end up with a big disaster. just quadruple check that you have ALL corners covered
-
i don't think this was posted yet, but he's got some new stuff out

there's a couple other good ones, but i can't find them on youtube. and those there aren't the orignal tracks, they've been altered. originals are much better
