  1. I would check what ray said. If the coil is wired out of phase that could cause this issue.

how would i check if it was out of phase i guess lol dont wanna do it wrong and do something i kno the phase setting on the amp is at 0. Sub level is 15/15 and i only drop .4 from 13.6 full tilt i got 5 xs d3100 lol

You said you used the DD1 on your amp, but when you checked you Headunit, was the sub level at 15/15? I always leave my sub level at 0 and then set my gain accordingly. This would be my first recommendation for adjustment.

And what head unit do you use?

Because I use the same head unit as the op and I leave my sub level at 15/15. Never burnt up a sub.

  2. Don't run different subs.

Different subs have different specs. Even in separate boxes they will cancel each other out and sound like complete ass.

Sell all the subs, and buy 2 matching, good quality 12's.

Guarantee it will sound 10x better than 5 mismatched subs.

Don't run different amps to the subs.

Different amps have different power outputs and will end up powering each sub differently which will cause more cancelation.

Sell the 4 amps and get 1 good sub amp.

Question for you now, the 5.25's are speakers correct? Not subwoofers? If they ARE speakers, I would suggest eventually trying your hand at fiberglassing your door panels to fit 2 5.25's per door.

Any other questions, feel free to ask.
