Also make sure none of your wires are running over or around your pcm(computer) and the noise might be coming from interference caused by your ac/heat module.

I always ground everything seperately (may be an OCD thing), can't guarantee it will fix it, but it won't hurt to try it.

Try grounding it seperate from the other accessory wires you attached it to. Might help. Also recheck to see that your RCAs aren't around other wiring causing the interference.

Don't know much about GM, but its gotta be one of the sensors or the computer itself. Fuel mixture is off somehow.

U need a camera with more fps. What amp you running to those?

its pretty much like this for me, i dont run them because for the price of an orion amp i can get a far better made amp, as for subs they are nice subs but again for the price of a new authorized sub i can get alot better for the money.
orions price to performance ratio went down the tiolet imo after the chrome 2500d's

nothing wrong with their hcca series at all.
it, for me, was cheaper to buy dc. plus there are many people out there that say some of those brands you listed will be louder than the orions.
its all in preference...
i have yet to see anybody on this forum bash or talk down on those hccas, so i dont know why you posted this.
Re-read the post. Its just a question out of curiosity. I never said anyone was bashin Orion, I just like to hear different opinions from other people, thats all.

Im just curious as to why there are't many people on this site using Orion subs. Now im not saying I dislike Fi, DC, etc. (all excellent brands), but is there something wrong with my HCCA 12 that I don't know about?

Most local shops have very basic knowledge. Not all but most. To them its just sales. Help your friend out, I'm sure you can figure out how to make it bang with the help of th epeople on this site.

it usually takes metra a little bit before they come out with a kit for NEW cars. I would expect to see something in late December or early 2010. Until then, custom is the only route you are going to be able to take.
Metra has the 2010 Focus, so hopefully it wont be too much longer.

Might be my only option. Either that or remove the panel and stereo and make some sort of custom panel.

So this is the issue. You can see how all the stereo and a/c controls are on one panel. I need some suggestions on how i'm going to get my aftermarket deck installed. One idea I have is keeping the stock look and hiding the new deck, how people sometimes do with older car restores. Anyway, I need some help. Ideas please

I got a root canal done today. Even with the numbig agent, I swear I still felt it all. The best part is that the army doesn't believe in pain meds for dental work.

Throttle position sensor, MAF sensor, vacuum leak. Check the tps first, just unplug it while the car is idling, idle should drop back to normal. Don't drive like that though.

Is the EQ new? Could be internal.
