I've had the same RCAs for a while, and the ground is on bare metal. on the latch for my trunk, sanded it down nice and good.

Well, I guess first chance I get it's coming out and getting looked over. I'm kinda pissed. First "big" system, for me, and it's messing up not even 2 weeks after I get everything up and running. I think I've pretty much taken it easy on it too. Gain about 1/3, no bass boosting at all.

On certain frequencies my sub makes a weird popping sound, almost like it's bottoming out, but it's barley moving. Any thoughts on what it is? I pushed down on the cone to see if coil was rubbing, and didn't really seem like it. It was only a quick check though, I also checked coils with a DMM and they read the same as the day I got it.

Well... I'm not doing another box, I need a 15" sub that'll take 1300rms in 4^3 ft at 35 hz and sound good and loud as hell. I was thinking about one the Z15s from Sundown, but site says like 3.25^3 ft max... $200 shipped is a kick ass deal

So I'm looking to upgrade, and don't want to redo my box. Would a 15" Level 4 perform well in a 4^3 ft tuned 35hz box? I have seen that they like to be tuned lowwer.

How long do you expect to have these?

Well, sunday I started building the box. But I've had some family emergencies so it will be postponed for a few days. I have all the wood cut, just need to glue, seal, screw, and paint. I got some spray paint that is like Stone. it's black with white flecks.

I love my 8gb 2G iPod Touch, Jailbroken of course. No camera, but you can take screen shots and save picture while browsing the web. I like the web browsing, it's nice and easy to use. There are also alot of awesome games for the Touches and iPhones. They also have a speaker, which is pretty cool. I would recommend getting one. I have an Alpine IDA X300, and it works most of the time with that, I sometimes get errors, but a simple disconnect and plug back in fixes it, and it does not charge it, so I use my 1G Nano FTW. lol. and TylerTron, there are ways around paying for apps....

my max hieght is 15in. So i have to have sub facing up. Max depth is like 35ish inches. So thefe should be enogh space for the air to flow. My seats do not fold down and have metal support that is welded on to the sides. Although there is a center thing and it folds down so you can see into the trunck. It may act as a port because i have two tena in a sealed box and air blows through the center thing.

Were can I find expo sports calculator? __ I can push 840rms, but I was planning on about 400 for break in and after that I would bump it up to 700-800 just depends on how loud I want it. How does this box look?

Yeah, I don't know the displacement, I hadn't planned on 45s, and bracing I wasn't sure on what to do for that.

Yeah buddy! My AQ SDC2.5 15 came in today. This sub is awesome,weighs 27lbs just need a box... Is it ok to have like 20in of port per foot? Is that to much? I know you should have like 16-17, but I haven't seen anything if that is too much? If anyone could help me and give me a free box design for this, it would be awesome. i'm going for more spl. My Max dementions are 12H x 32W x 30D. I'm looking for ported, either slot of aero ports, kinda looking for tuning around 35-36 I listen to mostly rap. Sorry for crappy pictures... Camera sucks. Well... a little before fice o'clock... UPS came... my sub is here!!! Woot and looks great. NEver got an email from anyone about it being shipped. That was fast shipping FTW.

Ok, I'm like a little kid the night before christmas. I can't freaking wait. and I now just saw they are open from mon-fri.

I don't want to seem antsy. It's been five days, which to them probably isn't that long, but for me it seems like it's been an eternity. lol. I may call tomorrow if I don't receive an email or something. I don't think they would have received my order until Monday. I ordered it I think to late on a Friday, and they are only open mon-fri. So if that is the case it's only been like two days.

I checked the junk and spam folders. Nothing in there. What's DJs username? I never have seen/talked to him. I'm just really excited because this is going to by basically my first OK build and I can't wait and don't want to wait. kl0wn -- They didn't email anything so I can't check with UPS...
