so i'm pretty sure my box is just like this, haven't seen the inside of it for a while but how can i figure out how big it actually is, cubic ft? how big the port is, What hz its tuned to? Any sites helping or personal help is very appriciated. Heres another picture, its like this but with a board in the middle of the port connected to the back wall.

just got it all put in. good thing i don't have work tomorrow, i can play around all day! lol. but i'ma be working my ass off lately i need to get a nice HU and want to get my new subs amp. but for now i got the big 3 done. got enough 1/o extra for the ground. just will need to get more for the power wire when i upgrade. Here is a question tho. i have a cap right now. because it would dim a little bit. now it probably wont at all right? since i got the big 3 right? i'ma need to add another battery for the future. so i could just wire the battery basically the same as the cap in the back of my cab right?

i actually heard some of these and the plain g5's and g2'-4's changing the voice coils is cool and way easier. they sounded pretty nice for being in a room, if it was in a vehicle it would of sounded much better. they are pretty nice subs.

i like how my kickers sound, they are great for 10's the box is a bandpass so i want to make something i can tune down for the new subs. they wouldn't sound bad in the box, just would be better if i had it tuned.

yeah, i want to build a proper box of course. but i do have a cash limit, so if i buy the subs and amp i won't be able to get a box right away.

just looking around online. you guys think i should go with the fi bl 10 inch or the audioque hdc3 both 1k rms for a dd truck with ported box.

i just went and ordered the fuse/holder, some 1/0 wire and ring terminals for the big 3. also picked up some 8 gauge speaker wire to get that up to par also. i wish i didn't have other bills otherwise i'd be dropping all my money into my truck.

well i paid 160 for the 2 subs + a nice box. i'm almost sure i could get 150 from the kid for both, not including the box (ima use box for new subs untill i make my own)

i got 2 kicker Cvr's 10 inch. i'ma upgrade basically a lot in my truck. got a kid in town thats interested in the 2 subs. how much do you think i should try to get for em? i played a little bit for him yesterday and he calls me 4 hours later wondering when i wanna sell them to get new subs. ha

right now just the big 3, i think when i order the fuse i'ma get some 8g speaker wire to get that up to par also ( mines random and old) when i upgrade my amp in the future i will be upgrading power/ground to 1/0 of course. but not that much funds right now so will have to wait for that

cool guys, yeah i figured 1/0 size wire. and the 300a fuse. just didn't know much about the fuses or stuff like that i've read through the big 3 stuff already, just no idea on fusing it. ha i'll need to pick up some wires and connectors soon, i have tomorrow off but don't really feel like driving 45 minutes to get crap ( closest audio place that would have wires) i looked @ some other sites and they were extremely expensive for the fuse. but this is holder + 300a fuse for 20 bucks? http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=FH-20

gonna do a big 3 hopefully soon. what type of fuse should i get for it? (links please) if ya could explain, how do i wire up the fuse (not sure on what type of connections on it) What size wire should this be done with also? Thanks.
