So I've been very impressed with the 5k and want to upgrade to a 7.5k in my ported 17 cu wall in the Zoozoo. . . That being my first experience with DC I also want to try 2x lvl 8's in a Hyundai Elantra 4th order/sealed/forward facing. Would the lvl 2 8 been a good candidate for 4th order??? I was planning on using factory (DC Soundlab) recommended sizes for ported/sealed volumes and 15 square inches / cubic foot ported chamber but not sure what to tune to? maybe 45-55hz? Any experience very appreciated And BTW I'll be calling Rusty this week for recommendations but I was hoping to get a jump start on designing the box

damage from quick arcing?

Yeah it's supposedly an AGM charger but I haven't been impressed (Schumacher sc-7500A I believe). I just ordered a 12 v XS intellicharger on my lunchbreak FTW ! Doesn't make much sense to have so many batts and run the risk of damaging them from a bullshit charger. -

And btw I'm not trying to act as if something like this hasn't happened to me before, it's just with nice equipment this time LOL -

Yeah, Thanks guys. I was feeling pretty fucking pissed at myself but felt a lot better reading your responses Yeah I'm convinced that a couple D3100's can do work welding! My allen wrench is definately missing a chunk -
So I know it can't be good to short batts. . . Today I was removing fuses to install D3100 #3 when the allen wrench touched a battery hold down post which I didn't even notice (face palm fuck). My question is if it is possible that the lifespan has now been significantly reduced by a brief contact? At least the D3400 and the new D3100 weren't raped but I've got the other two on the charger and the only thing I noticed is that the voltage climbs to like 16v for a couple minutes before coming down to normal charge voltage. The XS manual clearly says to never let it go over 15.5v 5 minutes max or they will gas, could they already be FUBAR? Thanks all

Thanks skrilla forilla but I meant how do you determine how much area you need for a certain size box volume/driver. What is theadvantage of a bigger box? Gets louder for some subs? -

Thanks that makes sense for the tuning but how the hell fuck do you figure port area for a sub? It seems that sub size and shape would factor in here and I've read on this forum that the solox is very picky about it's enclosure
