Running 4 Level 3 18s w/ Level 4 upgrades on roughly 5k watts. I just want it to play low frequency music violently.

How many cubes should I aim for and how much port area? Looking for a low 30s tuning.

Not enough power, in my opinion. 2 Level 3s would be golden on 2k. I have a BC5500 on 4...they have taken the abuse for several months now.

Going through the amp. I don't have the harness to plug the RCAs into the dd1

all you do is plug the RCA into the DD-1, you have an aftermarket deck. I dont see why you are doing it through the amp.

Ohhh ok. Didn't realize that was how it's done. But either way, I have to go through the amp to set the gain. And it distorts with the gain all the way down on every track at volume 9.

My maximum unclipped volume was max (40/40) when we used DD-1 for my last build. Now it shows constant distortion above vole 9. Gain is all the way down.

I'm using my flash drive for the DD-1 Tracks. I had to convert them to 320kbps...I know this isn't ideal, but my flash drive wouldn't recognize the original files. Maybe this is part of the reason? Idk..

Or maybe my head unit is screwed?

You have plenty of space. You could do subs up/port back...if you wanted.

I wouldn't wall this setup. Especially being at the C-Pillar. But that's just my opinion. Good luck with whatever you end up doing.

Measure the cargo area behind the C-Pillar. Gotta figure out how many cubes you have to work with.

Just do some research here before you start building/buying. There is a lot to learn man. Go with quality equipment, and do it right the first time.

And try to make your posts more understandable. No punctuation and multiple spelling errors make it much more difficult to follow what you are asking/saying.

You would be WAY better off buying 1 quality amplifier and 2 quality woofers. And trust me...Sundown is infinitely more "reliable" than Hifonics or Power Acoustic.

We could help you out a little more if we knew what your budget was. 2 SA-12s or 15s on a quality 1200 watt amp would sound much better than what you are planning.

And there are more quality brands than just Sundown. Read around here a little. There is much to learn here.

Welding cable is usually the cheapest route. I use it, works fine. The jacket is basically bullet-proof. And it's always OFC.
