Thats ok for a first system, but i would still look for something with more power, but yet im power hungry and never satisfied lol
Agreed. The system i have is my first system and its ok for about 800 dollars.(system in sig) but if your on a budget then go with those kenwoods.

Possibly. And not just to the amp.
What makes you ask?
When i got everything all hooked up again after replacing the fuses it looked like one sub was excursioning more that the other, but mabey its the was i have it wired. Amp +- to first sub +-, other coil +- is conected with a piece of wire then to the first coil hooked to amp to next subs first coil then the second coil on the second sub is linked. I'm hoping that nothing is wrong with my amp, i think i just got lucky with the fuses blowing and having to spend 3 dollars replacing the fuses.

think it could have done any damage?

Sick song, hits hard to Thanks!

Check you didn't stick the power in the ground and the ground in the power. That's a real quick way to blow all the fuses (and half the time the RCA ground track in your headunit...)
By double checking my work and trying to calm down, i figured out this is what i did. Now i have to get 4 new fuses when i get the money. Looks like im not bumping for a few days, unless i find out that i fried my amp, lets hope for the best! Thanks for the help bigredishott, and boon!!

Got my fingures crossed for ya! Don't forget the inline fuse in the remote wire behind the deck. Might be easier to use a test lamp there. Again good luck, hopefully thats it. Lord knows I have blown my fair share of fuses, wiring stuff up while hot.
i do not have an inline fuse on my remote wire, just the amp fuses and the in line power fuse

yes i should have but i diddent this time, but will do check the fuses right now, thanks
All 4 25a fuses are blown, and there is melted metal all over the ground terminal on the amp. i don't have any money to get fuses right now so im gonna have to wait a few days. I'm really nervous because I'm suppose to be selling this amp and subs to my friend.

It dont sound to good! Have you checked all your fuses. Maybe even take a test bulb to the hot wire and remote wire. Perhaps you got lucky with a fuse. You should take the neg off the battery when hooking stuff up. (I dont either and know better too)

i went to hook up my amp and i had my capacitor hooked up to the battery and it sparked when i put the ground into the amp and now all i hear is a popping noise from all my speakers but u can hear music. my amp lite doesn't come on either. my guess is i fried my amp.
