Gains were set with a DDM at 48.9volts = 300 rms each. Would clipping be something to think about here? i did not use a oscilloscope or nothing to check for clipping, i don't have access to one.

i think it happens every time i listen to music, i have been busy lately and haven't checked alot but when i do its hot, really hot. It's a 4 ohm load.
