There is no real "fix" without buying an after market alt. Batterys will help UNTIL THEY DIE. If your alt doesnt have enough to rechage them then they arent really doing anything....

Due to the fact of more cone area, I think the 6 12's would be a better bet, Now add in fact of a lot more coils to dissipate the heat and power I don't see how its not a safer bet. I know I'm on the Type R's nut's but for the price nothing can fuck with them. I get them for the lowz . Now as I understand it at box tuning frequency the woofers don't actually move that much, So more cone area FTW unless playing below tuning freq? Correct me If I'm wrong. I know PSI's are legit but after shipping to and from plus the actual re-cone with labor I think he could save some money for deadener and wire as that's far more important than .1 or .2 DB'z....

Well I had last Friday off so I started tinkering with the Neon.

Fixed the non-working speedometer.

started polishing the headlights by HAND so they are not done yet

detailed the engine bay a little bit after the oil change

Tinted the tails. I did my buddies fog lights so I figured why not? I used RustOleum lens tint

Got FREE hubcaps too. Wired up my buddies Python 991 to control his underglow and radio

Thanks, I am going to shampoo the seats and get four new tires and an alignment so I will have about 500.00 into when its all said in done. It IS slow lol, But 25-29 MPG City sounds good. My impala is getting 17-22 City and 27-29 Highway so its not bad but now If crappy out side the Impala can stay in the garage
