  1. he didnt buy shit from me except the box....so Iam not going to replace anything. Iam throw the box in my car with a set of memphis m3's and give it a try.
  2. that sounds almost like a a-trends e12dtv pre fabbed box
  3. he kept saying 2cu ft per sub....Iam at 3.28cuft with 14.6sqin of port per cu ft.....like I said, not my design....just something I found net surfing, that someone else said worked for them...Ive already built the box...he took it with him..came back two day later and said it was wrong....never put the subs in it. I think he wants his box chambered because if he blows one...he can play the other.....and if he is this great with enclosure specs he cant build or figure out...then blowing a sub or two seems likely
  4. I dont know if its to spec or not..I think spec calls for around 2cuft per sub. But since audio isnt our shops primary focus, I like to search the web forums for stuff that has worked for other people with audio brands I dont have experience with..and sundown isnt real big around here...this is the only set that has ever come through our shop. If it were say Kicker or Memphis...since Iam a dealer for both, I just call up the tech line, tell them power, sq or spl, and what subs, and they give me what they have had worked for them...and alot of times, what they say isnt near whats on the spec sheet.
  5. I have a customer who has 2 sa-12's, he asked us to build him a box...he said he has been in contact with Jacob at sundown and the box we built is completely wrong, and will not even try it. I havent seen any of his equipment, but he tells us he is going to run the subs at .5ohm on a 1500 watt hifonics brutis amp that has sundown internals. the box we came up with was 34W x 14H x 19.25D 3.28cuft before subs displacement. Port 3.5W x 12.5H x 30.5L tuned @ 33hz, 14.6sqin per cube (with subs). the subs share the same air space, and port. we found this actually off a web site, that someone is running this box, with the same power, in the same car and said it was better than the box that was built to factory specs.,but the customer swears the subs can not share the same air space. If Iam way off...any direction would help. I know its near a holiday, and sundown is busy..ive sent a couple emails, and called a few time...but know how business is...so no worries there
  6. yep I got it on mautofied. Just moved the shop to a new location, so if I sell it the extra cash would help..If it dosent sell..it looks great out front for advertisement. Pretty sure with it out front, my RF sales will pick up pretty good this year
  7. my Denali..cant take much credit for it, as I picked up almost as you see it. RF powers in the doors off 2 RF 400.4, 6 T1 15's off 2 2500.1, 10f RF cap, 5 red tops, dual alts. 5 tv's, wig wags, green led strobes in the wheels.lowerd on 28"s short video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oplYlHDy9X4 pics(dont know how to get them off cardomain) http://www.cardomain.com/ride/311098/2000-gmc-c-k-pick-up/page-8
  8. $3,000 is close..might be a bit high. its just cans all the way around. If you can wire up a system, you can bag a unibody car. You cant 4 link it or anything like that. (well you can...but thats a whole diffrent story) If they make a bolt on kit, buy it, and spend a afternoon putting it on. and youll have the added benefit of when it messes up (it will) you will know how to fix it. we had a bolt on kit for a lude and had it tore down, installed and done in about 4 hours.
  9. kelderman (think thats how its spelled) is the only place I know of that has lower/lift bags for a excersion. But I tow a 24ft deck boat with 50 gallons of fuel, and 50 gallons of water on it..no problem with the bagged 3500 with re7's on it
  10. Ive always had good luck with the pro kit on 300/charger/magnum. They ride just as good as stock, or you could try to find some srt8 springs. The stock springs also dont ride any worse with a coil cut off them, but I wouldnt know how that would work with the extra weight in the rear. We got a body shop we deal with, after we rim them, the body shop cuts the springs, and rolls and stretches the fenders. they look bad ass with the tire tucked up in the fender.
