stumped on where to buy them from, i'm curious myself...that was another choice of what to put in my jeep when i redo my system.

I'm josh from alabama. i drive a 2001 jeep cherokee sport 4x4. i currently have a low end system. alpine cda-9853, kenwood doors and panel speakers, hifonics titan 1000w mono block amp, phoenix gold xenon 12'' 2ohm sub. i found out about the site through two people. audiofanaticz and rcmobile.

man i heard about these guys when they were still kinda a local group...they do have some good songs...i've known about them for a few years now...

so i have narrowed my problem down to most likely being my alt. a buddy of mine tuned my stereo lastnight and i can now safely play my stereo at 30 with out the ac on. when i turn my ac on it cuts out...so i think next step will be alt. then a new system

i'm thinkin about ebaying a cda 9855, step above it, it's a little easier to work than mine

so in otherwords pick up a 4channel amp to push my door speakers? along with upgrade the system? lol

and another thing, can you explain what you mean by clipping, i'm just getting more into systems again but i've never heard this phrase.

I have a Alpine CDA 9853 I have a Hifonics Titan 1000w mono block amp pushing a Phoenix Gold Xenon 12 well when i have my amp turned all the way up and my in unit remote at 15(max) it cuts out when i turn my volume passed 18 my system completely cuts off, player and everything. it will shut off and cut back on...i tried changing my x-over lowrange to 0 0 200 from 0 0 80 and it cut out at 15, changed it to 0 0 20 and it still cuts out at about 18-20. anyone have any suggestions of what i might need to do?

i wouldn't trust it. seems like crap
