Wasn't there a member here who built a wall with a plexiglass window so he could still see out the back?

not an L shaped port...just a slot. aproxx 17 inches deep...15 inches tall x 3 inches wide
Then it's probably a gain issue because you're using two amps. One gain may be slightly higher than the other
-
-
When you unhook one amp and just one sub is playing, the other probably moves a little due to air circulating at high velocities through the box and causing the cone of the other sub to move a little (kind of like a passive radiator).
As for the subs playing different, my GUESS is that they're in a common chamber, L ported box and one is having a loading issue while the other is loading off the port wall. That's just a spontaneous guess though.
The subs should be fine being that close together, although your box may need adjusting due to a loading issue. It's hard to tell without knowing what your box design looks like

How else could I run the port sense the subs are downfiring? I sure hope I can have one of the loudest systems in my school!!! All thanks to you guys haha
External aeroports forward firing would be cool
I said this in another thread but I've put a box in an F350 and we rearfired the subs and they sounded awesome but it was sealed. I'm not sure what other people's input would be in trying this with a ported box or where you would port it though
-
I am putting two sa-10's in my brothers singlecab truck right now,his cab has quite a bit of room tho, we are going to squeeze 2ft^3 after displacements. But I always like the port passengers side for a few reasons. First if you give demos it's going to he a bit louder in that side, second if you ever decide to get metered that is the side the put the port on. And I would not do the port firing down. But like everyone is saying, 2 sa-8's in the right box will get loud, probably louder than the type r's considering they are in shitty prefab boxes! And it's going to he so fun seeing peoples reaction when you have the loudest system at your school and they are 2 8's!!! Hah
In a forward firing port, driver's side is louder to the meter and the passenger most of the time.

Sadly, yes that's what I mean by downfiring the port. There will be space between the port and floor ofcourse so the subs can flex.....
You can downfire the subs and be fine, but the port wouldn't be a port without being vented into open air
-
Downfiring the port? As in... into the floor?
-
Subs back will yield best results I'm almost positive
-
I came in expecting pictures and now I'm disappoint
-
You post more than once every 20 seconds?
-
Pretty sure you can just glue it one and it shouldn't change much although I could be wrong
-
That's insane... Great job!
-
It was ruled unconstitutional to give tickets for this in my area. Something about if its legal to shout stuff to people about other things as loud as you want, playing music loud is no different. Freedom of speech sort of I guess. Sorry to hear about your ticket though man
-
That's effing hilarious
-
The M3 didn't try and race, they're a lot quicker off the line than that
-
An L7 12 would probably get louder in the space you have available. Sell the 15 and buy a 12, then build a proper ported box for it and you'll be happy
-
Can you imagine... You decide to spend 90k on this, drive it off the lot, start heading home and BAM! Rear ended...
-
Sounds like clipping. Lower your gains

There are many american cars that would downright embarrass a bugotti.... in a 1/r mile, a bugotti barley pulls in the high 10s I believe, there are millions or drag cars (street legal) that can pull 9s and 8s,..... o yea I almost forgot the only place that's big enoughs to even drive you car to its potential, even tho the buggoti was so slow around the top gear track they refused to let them test it.....
above all u can only take that car to its potential the Utah salt flats which o wait are still tooooooo small for the crappy buggotti a rug called the yellowbird was the fist real race for buggotti and holy shit it won vs a 400 hp rug that kept up through all the gears
If you really wanna go fast and spend+ 1000000 then go get a rug!
700+hp at the wheels and 3000lbs that's tops! O wait and u still can't drive it anywhere cuz the SPEED LIMIT IS 65 70 if your lucky
Rant over
The Bugatti Veyron SS holds the record around the Top Gear track.

Always thought it was a ugly car, still is lol. Would much rather have some American muscle that will give that car a ass whooping
And just what american muscle car would take a bugatti?
the SSC ultimate aero, WAS the fastest, and faster than the veyron for 2009/2010... which is an american car
but its now ranked #3 in the fastest
3. SSC Ultimate Aero: 257 mph
2. Koenigsegg Agera R: 260 mph,
1. Bugatti Veyron: 267 mph
not going to lie, if i had skills like that, my integra would look slike the koenigsegg agera LOL... i can care less if its fast, it looks beautiful..
This is wrong. Veyron SS 274 it is again the fastest
how is it wrong? the veyron went from 1st to 1st again? its still in first place...
Reading > me.
I thought you were saying the veyron was slower
LOL no, thats why i posted the MPH that went with it
I just posted where the american car stood against the others first lol
it still gets a bronze medal...
I'm pretty sure that the SSC Aero has no luxury features at all though
-
I personally like the new Gullwing SLS AMG. Or a Porsche 911. If I were to be buying a supercar tomorrow that is
-
All of them if possible. At least the upper right/left corners and bottom right/left corners if looking at the box through the baffle
Edit: ^I guess I stand corrected. They aren't necessary lol. BUT if you are going to add them then you can go ahead and listen to me

Wasn't there a SOTM winner a while back with a design similar to this?
subs too close?

Yes. This is the problem. You set your gains wrong and the amps are different.
