  1. Double Rainbow! Dude now we need a dubstep remix.
  2. Personally I always thought they would look better all black. Looks like I was right! Good choice, I'm excited to see how it actually turns out
  3. Maybe if he gets to a high enough speed to make his wheels rotate fast enough, he'll start to hover
  4. Today was my first day of classes at the University of Central Florida
  5. Then the tweeter is not on the same axis as the speaker
  6. It depends if they are coaxial speakers or component speakers. Component speakers have separate tweeters while coaxials have tweeters in the center of the bigger speaker.
  7. Oh okay then go ahead and do the prefab (if its to specs or at least really close. I didn't even check). Or build yourself a basic box.
  8. What are your max dimensions? Design and build a box for both twelves, but make it a two chambered box. It'd make a lot more sense.
  9. I would make a box for both twelves and just make it separate chambered... Then once you get the other one, you could pretty much just screw it in and be done already
  10. Bag it. You're going to want the ability to raise it back up at the flip of a switch after a drop that severe
  11. You'll be much happier once you build a box. As for the door open thing, it changes the airspace. Every car reacts different depending on the setup.
  12. I would have respected him if he'd posted that he would raffle the prize AFTER he won.
  13. Can't tell if he's going for a Snoop Dogg look, or like... a homeless Jack Sparrow look
  14. OP, do a 15.5x1.75 (should be the height of your box -1.5 of MDF) and make it 26 inches long. Does that work for you? It's 2.26ft^3 net and 32.2hz Edit: Or you can go 15.5x2 and make it 33 inches long. But then your box is 2.05ft^3
  15. I just put it into Torres. He's right, the lowest possible tuning according to Torres is 51" long and a 35hz tuning. Then it starts to go back up Edit: I used a 15.5x2.5 port area
  16. I know thats why I am asking lol. So how do I increase the port area? so my box should have approx 30 inches of port area. Its a JBL GTi MKii 12" Its getting a solid 1200 watts RMS, but that is irrelevant right now... fs is 31.85 if that matters... **edit** I am figuring this out slowly I think... 10" x 3" is 30 square inches, then just calculate the depth after that? But if I do that... then my port length has to much longer than I have space to do... So whats the trick? Your port can make an L turn as long as the port wall stays the same distance away from the back of the box. (that may have sounded confusing but its almost common sense, so it shouldn't matter lol )
  17. And boost it to hell so that you can't hear the rest of the song anymore! For real though, "secret" demo songs would be awesome. You could compile a whole list of 'em
  18. If you type in that you only have 1 port, it only calculates for one port. A single slot-portted box. When you put a length that exceeds the depth of your box, it automatically takes into account the L bend
