  1. This one

The fillers you linked are way off for what you're trying to do.

You want a finishing/body filler not filler to add to resin to thicken it which is what you have linked^^ in ur last link.

All that stuff is (dry) powder or (dry) chopped mat that you add to resin to thicken it into more of a paste, but you want somethign that will sand easier than that.

    strike that....

  2. Instead of the 1 18 you should have cramed 4 15s in that bitch !!!

    Agreed but hindsight is 20/20.

Make room for it in the rear deck (I have seen 18's in the rear deck of impalas and caprices more than twice)

Build the box up into the area under the rear deck with the double baffle where the sub will mount replacing the rear deck and build (fiberglass) or "step down" the box back into the tunk until it's flat enough to finish the box in MDF. Ditch the spare tire too. It'd be impossible to steal this^^ kind box w/ out taking the whole car thats for sure :P

  3. If you're not affraid to GLASS it....I'd do a cool fiberglass mount between the seats...a kinda "bent arm" that swoops out between the seats and allows the amp to sit flat but an an angle similer to the seats but "just in front" and just flare out the edges to make room to mount the T1K....then you could run your wires through the center shaft/mounting "arm" ...Ill see if I can find a pic of what I mean and post it....I know have a pic like that saved on my pc although it was for a 13" (or so) monitor.

  4. man i always see people checking this out but no one ever posts anything, just a bunch of lookers :P

    Yep.....buncha looky-lous. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif

Looks great all vinyled up man.

I like how you did the wrap around trim panels at the bottom, and made a clean break around the port...I see lots of folks having trouble there so great job.

Just gotta get them last amp cover parts vinyled too.

    But it looks pimp.

Now we need numbers and vids. :P

  5. There is a sticky saying why not to mix brands. Also that is a bit steep for the price, you could get 4 18s with 1krms+ each for that price (New). I'm not knocking what you're getting, I'm just saying it pays to shop around a bit..

There is a thread dealing with this...but it doesn't say "you should..." OR "you shouldn't"...

It got stickied/pinned cuz I explained what you need to take into consideration when mixing subs....it CAN be done, and done WELL.

    But it's a gamble.

So test with both sets of subs and with each pair indiviually...& be ready to rebuild it just in case it sounds "not so great".

    That's all.

  6. Doors are def lookin sick.

Excellent work with jammin that many mids in a not so big area and keepin it classy lookin.

I'm sure them doors are gonna sound NUTS....and they better to keep up w/ the low end in that thing.

Keep it up meng, it looks like it might be comin to an end and you guys can start the "Mobile demo" assault on Sactown.

Gotta bring it by my shop some time, hehe.
