some of those are just ridiculous....all i can say is I am glad I dont have to wire those...I get frustrated trying to hide wires for 1-2 amps haha
If you notice......
AINT NO KINDA WIRE HIDING GOIN ON IN THOSE PICS!
And OMTFG!
Dattssaaloottajuice!
I don't know if I should LOVE IT or FEAR it?
But it's awsome nonetheless.
excellent post.

Nice...
that looks pretty bright and nice color....
I thought mine was bright with 2-H3 halogens retro fitted into my stock map and dome locations.
But My Hyperwhites are not as cool as da blooooooooo.

Well.....Not "NO ONE".....the guys that have BUILT a setup...from scratch, one connector at a time, one 2"square or fiberglass mat at a time, and cut the SAME piece of mdf, removing a 1/8"of material like 6 times until it fits perfect....those guys are the FEW that REALLY KNOW what it takes...compared to the MANY that just see (and DEMAND) the pretty final product.I think i must make this look to easy...ya'll dont see the R&D part of any of this you just see me whipping it out - no one feels my HOURS of bathroom R&D, and all the stress i feel while trying to pull this off.....and in front of half the world. Trust me, im not nearly as good as some of the pro's i KNOW this........but it STILL takes time. If i had time, a shop, some help, and endless tools/materials (and what i dont have someone ELSE goes and gets) this would be a lot faster.
Another thing you guys dont see is all the coordination i have to deal with......i have to decide what i need, then order it or go buy it and that takes time. I need to decide what products, materials, glues, resins, woods, fabrics, fasteners........even got-damn rubber gloves and paint brushes need to be used for the job and make sure i have plenty. Its still back to the store on a weekly basis. I also decide and purchase all the gear all the way to the last strand of wire.....
anyone feelin me yet or should i go on?
And 5am Gawdamn bro...I aint up @ that hour unless I'm BOUT to go to bed.
HARDCORE.
-
Monty Python much?
great nonetheless.
-
Yup....and Nice Leapord bed-sheets, pimpin

thanks, and oh i HATE those bricks so i dont care what gets on them.
Chris: you know you can come anytime bro i was just mid-resin when you called and yesterday being so semi to non productive due to company all damn day, i HAD to stay focused tonite.
Thanx for the open invite Steve, quite hospitable indeed....but I think I will still call first just to be sure it's all gravy b4 I head on out there...that and I think I need ur addy again ...I only been there that one time to pick up my SMD gear haha....and I forgot to print/save the mapquest directions
-
Yea it's Chris. What's happening Chris! Chris is the name right? I thought there would be more SMD people there as well...guess not...although pretty much everybody there was a member of SMD...all of team SSB and BASSICK are pretty much members here...
Myself and a buddy will probably be making up a box for that Audioque 8 I was telling you about...I'll try and let you know how it turns out.
I was just expecting more of the "vocal" smd members I guess...the folks I usually see on the boards.
Nice meetin ya tho bro.
And def let me know how things go with the T-line if you do it and/or need some help on the design.
-
Lookin Good there meng
Glad you got to therow some glass at them doors today...
I wish I coulda just banged away on my current project but I'm waiting on somebody to bring me some special materials before I can continue...so i'm jealous.
oh and like I said No worries if you're busy...just Next time you have a another "Hoopty hearing" party hit me up
-
Man you gotta seal off pressure from those back windows.
You hear the "prratt-prrattt-prratt" of the windows (sides and back one) just FLAPPIN from FAARR away....under all that pressure...and I bet you lose some when they flex...I'd try to seal em off somehow.
-
Luuuuuckeeeeee
I met Kurt at the show....the only one who stepped up and said anything.
I expected a lot more smd folks to be there and/or be seeking each other out for the meet n greet but I guess not.
Seems like a cool cat.
Maybe If it's cool I will try to get a demo myself tomorrow after the show.

Kinetic PWNs the cap for sure...
Go with the Pioneer OR a Kenwood eXelon KDC-x591, x592, x691, x692, x791, x792, x891, x892, or x991 x992.
The ones that are the "500" series are from 2007 so maybe find one cheap left over but new on ebay/store, the "600" series is the 2008 lineup.
I had the Alpine 9856 and the removal and installation of the faceplate was enough to make me not want to do it which defeats the purpose of a det. face deck....it's also only 2V preouts whereas most the others metnioned are 4v or 5v preouts, which makes a diff if you have heard it.

Those endcaps came out great.
Nice work man.
Lets see a vid?
How's it sound and how loud you think?
-
Yea what He^...I mean... I, said.Da Black adds beeebeeez.
Just coloration of the resin.
He mentioned it already.
doesn't change the properties of the resin (although when I used some it seemed to speed up dry time a tiny bit) other than the color which "could" be useful if you were laying a bunch of layers and sanding or cutting thru it and wanted to know how "deep" through the material you were...like a guide coat.
Other than that just looks better/already painted compared to Ugly glass yellowish brown.
ARE YOU REALLY THAT LAZY!!!??? IT WAS LIKE 10 POSTS BACK!!!

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/24ac670...a2b008044f6.htm
there is nothing better then a good looking girl who drives and drifts an e30 bmw.
except maybe a BETTER looking girl who drives and drifts....a NEWER BMW....and can do it Japan style hangin ou the door/window.....
NEKKID!
HA! I win.
It can always be "better"...she could be Your/my/any one of our ladys. Mine preferrably even tho I aint really into the whole drift scene.

soulja boi is coming to my school.... my principals son works for his record company and my school (which is like 47% black) did the superman (including my principal) on the 50 yard line after we won our divisions championship game in football...
That's terrible.
"AT BEST"...Mediocre beats that I bet could make, overly-repetitive-non-sensical-garbage lyrics that encourage younger and younger kids to act stupid (hyphy-dumb-retarded-ghost riding, etc) and STAY STUPID like it's the "cool thing to do" (...all F's on my report card, told the teacher- throw some D's on it!) wow, way to dumb down our already sub par, PROUD TO BE DGK (Dirty Ghetto Kids...they have T shirts) ...School kids, while biting another overly repetitive dirty south song (Rich boy).....
I'm all for some "good sounding" beats and a catchy phrase song now and then but it's soooo out of hand these days.....
Lil wayne has a lot of thought out lyrics and I can respect that, along with jeezy, and Rick Ross, to name a few others... but the "pop" side of Rap and the movement TOWARDS more "POP-Rap songs" and a one hit "dance" song being the way to strike platinum with almost zero talent has really got me "hating new school rap" too.
There's always some underground that is worth while and everybody's gonna have thier own take on it and thats fine-I'M NOT LOOKIN FOR A FLAME WAR ON BEST TO WORST RAP HERE-Just venting a lil bit... to each his own........ I wish a lot of the Rap artist I grew up on (Dre./Snoop/E40 NOT the hyphy movement/Dru Down/Luniz/Too short/Celly cell/Ice Cube/Cypress Hill/Jay-z/Eminem/and a whole lot more that just seem to have fallin off or are too busy enjoying their $$$$ to make new stuff...) would get on the radio indead of f*ckin soulja boy every 5min....thnk god for mp3's I guess.
end rant...
I'm sure someone will have some beef w/ that but oh well.

Damn, that ish was pretty well done.
Nice find.

Lookin good boss.
Some nice teardrops there for the A pillars I gather...The same style as Ray did on the Hoe? Roughly.
I was thinkin aside from havin a "less smooth" surface to deal with, why Not "swiss cheese the a pillars w/ holes like you would a set of kicks to make sure the resin/glass cann hold well and not peel/crack away?
Did you use the same Epoxy/Glue+material b4 glass as you did on the doors?
I'm just curious cuz I'm thinkin maybe what Ray suggested about the "contact cement+material" as a "base" to glass to.... could replace the "swiss cheese" method when building kicks too.
So I guess I'm sayin..lemme know ur opinion of Rays idea and how well the ahdesion is AFTER resining it.
