  1. to get the adhesive off i use adhesive remover.

    goo-b-gone.

    aircraft adhesive remover.

    anything like that.

once you clean the stuff off, give that area a good scrub and wash with some soap and water, because it kind of leaves a greasy residue.

Correct....I'de use Goo-Gone...but it does leave it pretty greasy/slimey feeling so you have to degrease once after and it "can" be harsh on certain clear coated parts so be carefull there...just don't use hella pressure, let the cleaner do the work and should be coo.

BTW-Welcome aboard bro, glad to see you up this this mug....

<--chants *Cut through!* *Cut through!* *Cut through!**Cut through!**Cut through!*

    Hehehehe.

  2. If the pellican was smarter/lazier...he shoulda/coulda gulped a big ass mouthful of water and drowned the pigeon quicker than just let him kick n scream and as stated rape his throat.

    Weird, but cool.

  3. Kinda hard to say w/ out waaaaaaaaaaay more info on the install....

2dr? 4dr? aftermarket batt? big 3? windows up/down/sealed up? material (bass track/tones or music), burp or "on music"? moons aligned? nekkid chicks present? did a spaceship just land? hell frozen yet?

But I'mma say 138.5 w/ seats up/no armrest pass through, and ~140 if u can drop the seats.

    your score...just like mine....< :hairtrick:

  4. that 13 cubes means thats every square inch of space. you need to figure in space for amps, batts, etc

    This is correct.

If you glass the spare tire well that's 3.15ft^3 right at floor level, then if you have no rear wiper/wiper motor hanging down in the way (rear wiper delete) you can easily get ~6ft^3 above floor level, building staright up to the top of the seat backs/without obstructing your rear view and a lil more if u push it. If you glassed the ENTIRE rear hatch area and kept your rear seats you would have ~12ft^3 of usable airspace. But as stated you would have ZERO room for amps/batts etc. they would have to go elsewhere.

Click the link in my sig for my 1997 2dr Integra if you're looking for more pics/ideas of the space we're talkin bout.

  5. wait...speaker outside of vehicle? now there just grasping at straws.

its funny they get mad at cars with loud systems but ive never seen any rice burners getting tickets for their loud ass exausts. its a stock civic. honestly?

but yea, i dont know if you would agree with be but 20 years ago people wouldnt have cared how loud your stereo was, aslong as they liked what you were playing.

too many mouth breathers... see what happens when parents stop spanking children? man i got way off topic, but still.

    What?

I agree on the exhaust issue-rice rocket/fart cans and HARLEYS should be shot down just as much if not more often... if we're playing things "fair"... but I have no idea what your mouth breather comment and "speakers outside vehicle" is about.

-On the "speakers outside vehicle" comment...there are quite a few "wannabe DONK/scraper ridin' fehgs" round here that think by-nines zip tied up in their plastic grills plying 100% distortion is "teh sh*t"...that need to be arrested.

  6. where are the other 6 :D

    x3.

This is SMD bro.....even 4 CVR 15's off 1600rms in a hatch is a "starter kit".....

Congrats on pickin up some nice soundin subs IMO tho.

I BEEN runnin CVRs 12's and 15's and love the sound...just need about 12 of em to git "SMD loud".

    Git em runnin.

*Edit-they are QUITE a bit of woofer for the everyday ebay price of $75ea shipped...which is why I chose them originally.

  7. No we had some targets set up on a lilttle island thing in the middle of the pond, but what happens if you shoot into water at an angle?

Barring freak accident, as with many things in life nada.

The bullet will enter the water and begin to lose velocity rapidly...as shown in the Mythbusters tests.

The whole "skipping" idea would require an EXTREME angle (or extremely acute at impact on waters surface in this case)

Nice my bro has one. Very reliable, ton of parts, and CHEAP to shoot

X2...look into folding stocks. 3 way folder is whats on ours, with an over barrel hand gaurd/shroud. very much more handy that way.

I had that same rifle with a 30 shot clip, never had a single jam. Thats a very reliable .22 :good:

    X2.

Over A LOOONG TIME and maaaaany rounds.....the reciever can shave the top of of the plastic mags down and it will fail to keep the bullets in the mag...which if you can keep them in there long enough to load the mag into the rifle...can cause jams.

25's and 50's are common and cheap.

    Great Gun IMO.

Tonns of fun, nice n cheap to plink with, and you can "sniper" one out w/ heavy bull barrel n such to make em nice n accurate.

  8. the biggest question that needs to be asked is which termlab vs which audiocontrol?

old termlab? termlab.net? termlab usb? audiocontrol sa-3055? audiocontrol sa-3055a? new audiocontrol? audiocontrol epic 150/160? new audiocontrol sensor? old audiocontrol stick mic?

Exactly....it's pretty tuff to give an "across the board" answer....I have an epic 160 in my car and it reads anywhere from 148-150db peak hold... and the last time I metered on a new TL it said 146.3 while my epic said 146....so it's a lil hard to pin it down with the AC mics "varying" so much but i'd say if it's a stand alone mic like an AC180/AC190 it should be no more than +5db if calibrated correctly.

Generally/on avg, my IN DASH (diff mounting location than passenger side dash/windshield mounted TL mic) epic 160 is +2DB compared to a TL.

  9. Dude it's gotta be nice to be missed so much a thread is started props. :good:

Hope you find someone to do a build for here pretty quick we ALL want to see your work.

    I def feel the love.

...and yes I too hope I get busy on some fun building sometime soon.

BTW-if ur lookin for my previous noteworthy builds/shinanigans....

  10. Wow just caught this.

    Sorry folks.

    I switched jobs in June.

went from 25hrs/week to 45/week and "work schedule" of 3pm-9pm a few days a week to 525am-230pm M-F.

I have just been adjusting to the new job, trying to focus on doing it correctly and there is just a shitload of info to absorb so the audio kinda takes backseat.

I am in front of a PC ALL day now, however photobucket has been blocked at work since about 4-5 months ago otherwise I would have the new world record for posts.

    I am still here, lurking.

I will still post some builds, even if they get hated on hahaha, I could really care less, I'm just doin what I do anyways...Part of the problem is, with the shitty economy and no "CHICKEN" to fund projects, I have no builds/projects to work on and I can't really afford to just rebuild my car every week, not to mention the gawdamn holidays have me busier than a one legged man in a butt kicking contest and I the weather is full-on shitty as well.

Add in keepin up w/ the "homies" and tryin to holler @ a lady or 2 and shit I am surprised I sleep at all.

I apologize for my absence, but rest assured I am here, peakin in... and I REP SMD EVERY DAY! (rockin the beanie relentlessly)

Anybody need me do not be afraid to use the PM function.

    ~Chris
