    you have to use either a YORK or a SANDEN. there is NO WAY you can use a stock a/c compressor off a s10. so he must have had one of those in there. engine driven compressors have their pro's and cons , you have to constantly fill them with oil, or they will burn up, they will go to about 220-240 psi on the big york, if you ever seen an Oaisis compressor , that is the heart of it , with an Oasis you dont have to have it running off your belt assembly. if i were him, i would get 2 viar 380's or 480's on a 8 gallon tank. that's what im running. you can find a used Sanden edc ( eng. driven comp.) from a junk yard for about 40-50 dollars, but then you got to get a mounting bracket for it. ive seen refurbished ones on ebay for about a hundred bucks ( with out the bracket ) btw sandens only go to about 150 psi. some people love them, some people have no time for them cause they are not is reliable as electric compressors ( viar,air zenith, oasis, etc.. ) so anyhow , my suggestion ( or opinion ) is to get some viars and a tank ... btw, you would still need a airtank if you ran an EDC........... ;)

    I know it was against ur instincts n all but good call...it takes some humility to take advice/criticism and change something just to appease the nay sayers, but in this case I'm glad you did cuz it looks really clean.

    unlike the usa, my country does not have much pure spl vehicles,at present theres only 2-5 cars at most,and information is very limited since no one wants to teach anyone, they all just keep to themselves

    Yea next time I'll just knock anyway and ask if ur there.

    I'm pretty coo with folks "droppin in" on me but I don't have 1000's of forum members and the "fame" you have...just a few local buddies.

    I just imagine you get "harrassed" pretty consistently with "lemme get a demo" or "lets go play with the boom machine in ur backyard" on a daily basis, so I try not to be the straw that tested Steves hospitality limits...Not to mention finding the neighbors limit/when the po-po's show up w/ noise ordinance violations.

    I'm sure I'll get to check it out at some point seeing as it's 20min up the road...and I had my camera ready this time- all charged/deleted off the old pix- so there will be plenty of pics/vids of my visit.

    Everything is lookin sick thus far Steve, I'm sure when I hear this thing I'm gonna be blown away.

    I think they can make the thread once at least one product has been shipped...I know thats when it started to feel like I had begun to work so I think its only fair. But just a wishlist does not belong in the BUILDS section. And pics are a must, to prove shipping of course :)

    You/they/w/e didn't BUILD the product.

    Ordering parts doesn't take any skill.

    It's member BUILDS....post up when you have some WORK to show.

    Other wise put your pics of your "subs" in the subwoofer section, pics of "amps" in the amp section etc.

    I can browse crutchfield/ebay/sonicelectronix/ ALL manufacturers websites, etc all day lookin at speaker porn.....lemme know when you do something UNIQUE/Original/ or worthy of the "build" name tag.

    Not tryin to be a "dick" but com'on, (I dint call any body ou this time either) this stuff is waaaay outta hand....I know I aint the only one feelin this way.

    Damn I should keep better track..but I try to just put em behind me....

    That I can for sure remember....4 Speeding tickets (prolly forgettin a couple)

    Pulled for noise violation at least 6 times...2 actuall tickets, 1st one I was 16..."waived" as warning by judge (nice guy)....last one...FOUGHT IT....lost.....paid $127.00+$10 processing fee

    Pulled for No front plate about 4 times....fix it ticket 3 of those times...the 4th time I showed I had the plate in the car but it has a big chunk outta from my last fender bender and I said I dint have the mounting bracket yet....so the douche cop says "oh ok" but then starts walkin round my ride "looking" for reasons to rape my wallet....has me open the hood...finds nothing....Gets me for "ride height violation"-vehicle is less than 22" from ground to center of headlights. :mad: .....ended up gettin coil overs.....cranked em all the way up....got it signed off...and dumped that bitch back down....I'd rather drop a G on new suspension and pay the $10 fix-it-ticket than give them the $127 and just roll around on my tokico blues and H&R 1.75" drop springs.
