    Not sure about the 1k6, but I've seen a 7k2 play for 16 hrs in 95+ in direct sun light. Didn't skip a beat...could have cooked steaks while it was playin...lol. still beats today...that's why the next amp I'm buyin is a stetsom 2k5.

    What kind of car. In meca its not the window line in all cars. Suv is below the seat back....if above will put you in mod. If below its street. But its cone area + fusing x10. Hope that helps.

    Depends on if your amp has fuses on it. I have 4 30amp fuses on my amp...if I was to put an inline fuse before the amp...they still use the fuses on the amp to determine class. Bigger amps usually don't have fuses so you have to use inline. So if your doesn't have fuses, you can do that. Just be prepared to change fuses if your going to be using that small of fuse.

    Just don't tell them you have foam...that will put you in mod class. Make sure you clean it up well. Jayrapboy...usually the fuse under the hood isn't counted. There has to be a fuse within 18 in. Of the amp or they use the fuses on the amp AS and drive by have to be music...all other classes can be tones or music AS stand is in driver seat 20in from windshield with motor off. Other classes you pick seat and can change motor idle to 2000 rpms
