  1. Since it is a cheaper amp... the 2000 at 1.3 is MAX... not rms... and by bridging.... it means bridging the channels... not strapping....

No its a mono block, so I mean strapping, sorry I did not really know the term until after I posted this.

Sorry the model is a HTG2600D

My math came up with about 1300 wts rms as well, so by me having 2 500wt rms DVC subs, I need about another 700 wts, so I need to get another amp, or buy a 2k rms amp..thanks for making sure I was thinking the right way with my numbers..

  2. There are a couple of ways of trying to run it like you are thinking, well really one, you would have to make sure you cut the door speakers wires out of the harness, and then tie your amp wires into those wires for the door speakers so the only signal would be coming from the amp and not from the amp and HU, if you did that you would be ok, but it would be best for you to run the wires from the amp to the speakers in the door, you will have to pull away the carpeting and trim panels around the door to get to be able to see your grommet or rubber boot, and then fight the wires through there, metal close hanger and electrical tape works well for me when snaking wires. Hope that helps and not confuses..

  3. Hello, I'm still kinda new here, so I am going to have some questions along the way, this one might be a dozey for ya'll, how do I find my amp effeminacy rating.

These are the facts that I know about my amp,

    Lanzar Digital Mono Block Amp

    1 x 400W RMS @ 4 OHMS

    1 x 800W RMS @ 2 OHMS

    1 x 1000W RMS @ 1.3 OHMS

    1 x 2000W @ 1.3 OHMS

    1 x 4000W Bridged Max Power @ 2 OHMS

    Mono Block Subwoofer Amplifier

    1 Ohm Stable

    MOSFET Power Supply

    PWM(Pulse-Width-Modulated) System

Glass Epoxy PCB With SMD Technology

    Gold plated RCA Inputs

Custom Terminal Block for Speaker Connections

    Thermal, Overload Short Protection

    Variable Subsonic Filter(15Hz~40Hz,24dB/Octave)

    Phase Control 0-180 degree

    Input Impedance:10K Ohms

    Soft Turn On/Off

    Heavy Duty Power Coated Heatsink

    THD: 0.1%

    S/N RATIO: 90dB

    Input Sensitivity: 200mv~8V

    Freq. Response: 10Hz~150KHz

    Remote Bass Control

    Fuse: 30A x 4

I need a little help figuring the numbers, I am running it at 1 Ohm, and should be around 1300 wts. Any help would be appreciated! I guess I want to know so I have a better idea what the numbers going to my subs are, to deceied to upgrade to another another amp, or bridge this one with another.

  4. ^pretty close to perfect advice there, most people will zero out the EQ settings on the HU before setting.

and welcome, Big 3 is a good start, could tell a big difference when I did mine. There are threads on the big 3 in this forum, if help needed. And u may get a lot of smart ass replys on here from time to time, but it is all in fun and games. So take no offense to to anything in here and learn as much as u can.

Start with an alarm. Haters gonna hate.

    Both good suggestions!
