  1. for me going from 30hz to 60hz maks a lot of difference i always wondered if 60 to 120 or 144 makes that much more of a difference, do you think is worth the money fo the extra refresh rate on the screen?
  2. great choice on those monitors next step would be run them on G-Sync (same thing as Freesync) Via Display Port More info on G-Sync here http://www.geforce.com/hardware/technology/g-sync
  3. an ipad on the dash would be an awesome replacement to that PC, SoundmanCA guys know how to do it just right, not saying u cant do it too
  4. actually, you CAN. The problem is, the third card won't be that dramatic of a difference. Knowing him though, if it can be done, he will want it done. I'm almost certain you can do it. If it doesn't work, i will drop back to 2 but right now its looking like 3. I was certain that you can only have 4 GPU max when during SLI or Crossfire. I heard that 680's are better then 690's. here is a link - http://www.videocard...h_end_gpus.html Just my 2 cent in theory 4 GTX 680 would be more powerfull the 2 690s but when using 4 phisical cards it starts to give more driver issues 2 690s would be less hedache then 4 680s
  5. English dude.. english lol i will explain better, it is because the GTX 690 is like 2 video cards in 1 circuit board (essentially 2 GTX 670 in one PCB) and the SLI system only allows for a maximum of 4 way SLI (4 grafic cards) witch it would be 2 GTX 690s you might be right, i might only be able to run 2.....DAMMIT.......but the 690 is gonna be 2 GTX 680's on one board, not 670. I know that much. The thing is that the GTX 680 and 670 both have the same GPU but they are clocked with different speeds and the 680 have more cuda cores, but yeah i got it wrong its 2 680s in one board, bot if hes gonna use for multidisplay what is going to make more difference is to have more memory on the video cards to run big resolutions
  6. English dude.. english lol i will explain better, it is because the GTX 690 is like 2 video cards in 1 circuit board (essentially 2 GTX 670 in one PCB) and the SLI system only allows for a maximum of 4 way SLI (4 grafic cards) witch it would be 2 GTX 690s
  7. I just would like to point out that you cant use 3 GTX 690s in SLI because the GTX 690 is a Dual GPU card thus it already have a 2 way SLI on its own, that beeing said if you have 2 of them its a 4 way SLI if you had 3 of them it would be a 6 way SLI witch is impossible you can use 3 GTX 680s in 3 way SLi tho
