  1. If I had to guess, the earliest it'll be out for PC is in time for the holidays. If not, then have fun waiting til mid 2014...

    mid 2014? are you high?

the only reason its not out yet for PC is because the ps4 and one aren't out yet. same x86 architecture. rockstar is waiting to release the better versions because money money money....MONAY.

if they sold it for PC right now, nobody would be playing it for xbox LOL because PC graphics are better than peasant console graphics.

Great a PC elitest, you're so cool. LOL.

I believe WastedTalent posted that his insider said Q1 or Q2 will be PC/XB1/PS4. So that's early to mid 2014. Plus all you PC ppl will just torrent the game which is another reason why they are probably waiting. An article on PC release that uses past console then PC release dates for GTA puts the release date for V in April. Plus the game actually looks beautiful on console.

  2. I'm loving the Obey Tailgater since its based off the Audi A6 and its Michaels main car so it always spawns in his garage. I already customized it a bit, tints, lowered, exhaust, bumpers, side skirts and I even changed the grill so it has an Audi B6 grill instead of that Chevy Cruze looking grill.

The Comet is of course stupid fast like always. The Coquette though is a fucking beast, its hella fast and handles amazing. I just saved it in my Vinewood Garage before I turned off my XBOX tonight lol.

I'm the one who asked in your stream the first night how the driving was. You said it was different, not sure if good or bad....when i started playing I immediately agreed with you. I sucked at the driving lmao. Then as I played I of course got better and IMO its way better than GTA IV driving. This one for some reason has a Need for Speed kind of feeling almost. I'm able to weave in and out pretty fast and I can take turns pretty fast since you don't go sliding a lot of the time like in GTA IV when slamming on the brakes, these higher end cars actually have good brake bite lol. It was funny as shit first driving in the R8 with Franklin and making a left hand turn my inner tires hit the median and my car went up on the passenger tires for a couple of secs

  3. I didn't have high hopes for Ghosts but after watching some multiplayer gameplay it looks pretty nice...MW3 was just a shitty MW2 copy and paste but made it worse....Ghosts they actually took the time to reconfigure the HUD and game dynamics, though they did take a whole lot of shit from BF like map destruction & player customization.

This actually looks nice for those of you who don't like that you only have 1 life in S&D

    Oh yeah

  4. The whole hardware is a debate:

Sony - 2.0ghz Jaguar, 8GB GDDR5 ram, 7GB is dedicated to gaming. Really really good since it has better bandwidth so graphics will be substantially better.

XB1 - 1.6ghz Jaguar, 8GB DDR3 ram, 5gb dedicated to gaming, the rest to other tasks. Not as much bandwidth but better for multi-tasking which is what the XB1 is being built to do.

The other thing is though is that XB1 will have a 32MB ESRAM for the GPU. Then also add in the fact that XBOX runs Windows which gives them the advantage for multiplatform games, since they are not the ported like PS games. One more thing, that is still up in the air, is the whole Cloud which is giving each XB1 the power of 3 XB1's so AI in games should supposedly be improved (this is also good for our storage since PS4' people can actually replaced their HDD's with bigger ones)

Either way, both consoles should be very good.

Now people saying "MS will just go back and change their policy!" Really?! Cmon now, that is just idiotic to think. I don't deny they may introduce the idea again in a year or so but really present the benefits a whole lot better. That was their downfall with it, they didn't discuss any of the benefits of the policy, they got caught up trying to defend themselves from the media/consumers. To think that they will just one day be like "HAHA WE SUCKERED YOU PEOPLE! DEAL WITH IT BRO!" makes no fucking sense, if you think shit hit the fan with the DRM policy imagine what would happen if they pulled that stunt.

  5. From what I understand b/c you now you have to use your disc to play the games like with the 360, no more loading to the console and tossing the game. Being able to have my friend "borrow" my game while I still got to play would have been great. Just the other day my friend asked to borrow either BF3 or BO2 but I was like naw b/c I play both of them still

  6. B/C of this you have to give your friends your discs now, which sucks b/c the family circle would have been great. If they implement it later on for an extra $10 a year I would do it.

Actually, $100 more isn't that bad considering its with Kinect. The PS Eye is $60 and IDK about move but its almost the same total if you were to buy those I believe. Plus the Kinect is much more advanced

This was a good move on MS though, less shit for those PS4 fanboys to talk about now

  7. Ok been reading it and now people are saying that PS4 games were also being demoed on PC and they told them that before they played. Also, this picture is for the game LocoCycle and it was the dev's choice to use a PC not MS since the X1 version of the game is being ported from 360 and not ready yet. The picture is being blown out of proportion and people says "ALL X1'S MUST BE FAKE!". Only demo's were on PC, at least for this game, actual games like Ryse for X1 & Drive Club for PS4 were actually on the consoles.

  8. N8, the Kinect always on and watching you doesn't bother you? Or the fact it has a every 24hr sign on check to make sure you are connected to the internet?

Doesn't super bother me but is kinda creepy. I mentioned it, but really as minor as it may sound, switching from XBOX back to PS controller would def suck.

I've also considered the fact that, hey, I've already given MS a bunch of money why not just keep it going?

Having to buy a new headset is going to suck. I'm gonna stick with Turtle Beach since my X12's have been solid and Tritton/Astro's headsets are expensive as fawk. Doubtful but it would be nice if they were to offer an adapter to use the old 2.5mm mic plug. Straight up, the day I get my new console I will need to have a headset too

  9. Shit, I didn't even consider that. Fuuuuu....I guess my original plan of waiting til 2014 for a new console is where its at and I'll have to decide by Sept which console so I can cancel my XBL subscription if need be. I'm glad I made this thread lol, you helped me think about some things I didn't even consider!

Oh yeah, this is a new XBOX exclusive game. Not really my cup of tea but yeah

  10. I think what I will do is just hold off on COD Ghosts/BF4 until maybe February or March of next year. That gives the consoles a few months to show themselves, see what people say. If they are having issues buy both those games for 360. If one of the consoles is looking solid then Ill get that console with those games.

I really wish XBOX One was backwards compatible.

  11. Wasn't it that PS3 had the better computing so they had to make mutli-platform titles for 360 then port to other consoles so that it was easier? This is just what I think I remember.

Very much thought about that already Wasted. Once I got my XBOX the PS2 collected dust til I gave it to my friend a year or two ago lol.

Very true I should wait until the kinks are worked out with the systems to see who's is looking better. I guess I didn't consider that I can stick with 360 games until 2014 Fall when the next COD/BF games will be out and get a system then.

GTA V which I am def getting in Sept won't be next gen, at least for a long time so that's one good thing I won't have to worry about.

Just checked and my XBL subscription renews Sept 15

  12. Yeah I was planning on doing that Wasted, still might wait til after the new year. I'm lucky and didn't get my XBOX til 2009 so its be almost flaw free, although its been freezing randomly while playing BO2 the past couple of months but oh well, hopefully it holds up for a lot longer. I forget when I started my yearly subscription, will have to look into that. I know quite a bit of them will still be playing 360 games but like I said in my 2nd post, those games I buy for 360 instead of PS4 will be useless when I go to upgrade my console in 2015 when they stop making 360 games, when I could already have them for PS4 and continue playing them into 2015. You know what I mean?

@Pro, yeah most my buddies had XBOX so that's what I went with of course. Now I need to talk to the ones I mostly play with and see what they are planning on doing. Good to know the community is pretty much the same. I've met about 5 chick gamers on XBOX over the past month that are chill as fuck to play with haha. Hopefully PS has some of them if I make the switch.

I don't really play any XBOX exclusives like Halo and what not. God of War though has always been a game I've wanted to try. Also, the whole kinect & internet always on is a privacy concern. This is the video that really got me thinking right now:

  13. That's true but I never really played used games honestly. I think the only used game I have is NFS: HP and I don't even really play it lol.

Another thing I just thought of, if I were to wait til 2015 and still buy 360 I'd be wasting money since I would need a new console a year later and those 360 games would be useless essentially.

BF4 PS4 bundle is $460 from Gamestop. That would be the one for me.

  14. I'm in a conflict, I'm now thinking PS4 is the better option for me money wise. This may actually help some other people on here who aren't sure either.

    1. XBOX One is $500...add in $60 for Live...total is $560

    2. PS4 is $400....add in $50 for PS Plus....total is $450 (Playstation Plus is now required for multiplayer)

So I save $110...except here is the thing:

If I keep my XBL Gold subscription so I can play all my games own now still it will only be a savings of $50. Then I have to weigh the fact of, will I even really want to keep playing those games like Black Ops 2 & BF3 when I can play COD: Ghosts & BF4 & GTA 5 on PS4 with next gen graphics? Also how many of my current XBL friends will even be playing them is another thing I need to consider.

They will continue to make 360 games until 2015 so I could also just wait and buy either an XBOX One or PS4 then, but like above how many of my current friends will be playing the games still and I need to figure out if any of them are jumping ship to PS4 and how many of them.

Another cost I need to think about, either way I'm going to need a new headset. XBOX changed their mic port so my current X12's won't work for it and X12 won't work with Playstation. So that's another at least $50, which is the $50 I save if I keep my XBL Gold.

Also, its gonna suck getting used to the PS controller again. I've only played PS3 maybe 2 or 3 times. I had a Playstation & PS2 before, hell I played my PS2 up until 2009 when I got my 360!

For you current PSN people out there, what is the online community like? Even better if any of you have both 360 & PS3 so you can compare.
