  1. I'd get a prefab sealed box and port it to your needs over a prefab ported box.

    Most prefabs really need some poly batting to combat the noise they make from being squares and cubes, if you ever play one without it you'll think it sounds like hell.

    Just go to any chain fabric place and get some poly batting thats 1" thick, its a roll of poly and not poly fill. Prolly need around 14sq ft to cover all the surfaces and its pretty cheap so may as well get extra.

  2. You'll need a converter of about 50 amps min and more along the lines of 75 amps to run it and unless you know someone selling one used cheap dont think about it. you'll be looking at 500 for a power supply to try it.

    Way back when i was racing R/C cars i got a deal on a 35 amp and a 75 amp PS so i was able to play around with my sound sytem hooked to my home theater.
