yea all those basics are done, except for swappin rca, and checkin the voltage directly at the amp. as for the ohm its down to 1/2.

im pretty sure the subs arent reachin its mechanical limits because it happens to soon in volume increase, the subs are 18s btl. it was doin it without the knob thats why i hook up the knob, so that i can have somewhat control over that pop noise while drivin. yes it happens with music.

i can try video it with my cell phone that the only recordin option but loadin it to the computer is what gets my sometimes. but ill try cas i really want to get this corrected.

it occurs even before i can set the bass knob to half, gains not even close to half and it does it, voltage no lower than 12.6 at FULL tilt.

i was thinkin low voltage was the part of the issue in my boy jeep with the two 3k, but in the other vehicle with the 3.5k the voltage doesnt drop below 12.6 and the poppin begin sumtimes even before the voltages reaches that low. this amp was from db-r so im thinkin that refurb wasnt a good repair. ill try some of you guys ideas and check the other things y'all listed also appreciate all the inputs

i've heard three sundown amps 2 3k and a 3.5k and they all are makin a pop sopund in the woofers, in different vehicle installs, and am not talkn about lower freguencies either am talkin about up in the 41-42hrtz range. so i wouldnt think sub filter. gains not set with an o scope but set very cautious.

yea man thanks, but how did u go about taking out the orange i thought about it but i dont have patience so i didnt want to ruin the lights since i paid 400+ for them(what a sucka). and couldnt afford or didnt want to afford the original envoy lights they cost 800 a piece because GMC refuse to sell them without the HID and doesnt sell aftermarket.

have anyone ever come across any aftermarket headlights for any jimmy or sonoma, i know they make for s10 n blazer but why never for the GMC. or even L.E.D backlights?

i got it to work thanks tho. the rca inside of the amps are reversed so the inputs are actually the brgde in and out and vice versa. no it wasnt new it was refurb.

there isnt a slave/master switch. its done thru rca.

why is that my buddies knobs on my on the amplifier wont work neither does the rca inputs, i thought the bridge section inputs was only for using slave and master setups, so why does only the bridge-in works, thats the only way the knobs on the amplifier begings to work. why is that?

thanks guys really appreciate the inputs, ill go with the one that has been benched closed or at its rms power which is the hifonics, its for my buddies instal.

thanks alot but u guys are thinkin about the older hcca5000 that was a 25k rms, but the new one will b out dec. 18 or so and was told a while ago that its 5k plus and will have birthsheet testin available. so that seems like it would be a beastly amp.

which amp would be most trust worty to put out rated power as said to be? both amp for same price! advise is appreciated.

the jl 1000.1 will definately do better they have a well rounded bass, plus give u full power from 1.5-4ohm and 11-14volts, trust me ive used them for my self. dam good amps thats why they cost!

why is everyone obsessed with this sub up port back ting, if usin large amount of subs yes, but two 18s do it at 12cft 170sq of port sub back port back guarantee 150s tuned around 36hrt.

nah no budget, with a budget i would easiliy choose the aq but thats not the case. performance first!

well actually after we decide on the amp based the on positive feedbacks i get then ill know wat coil to get, whether dual 1s for the sundown or dual 2s for each audioque! based on power output of the amplifiers cas i have seen guys said they gain more from one saz3000 rather than 2 audioque 2200d!
